My wife & I were looking for things to do with my son & 10 year-old grandson, visiting from out of town on Saturday 2/14. So I made reservations for the "Tree Top Canopy Trail" at 1:30 PM. For 30 minutes we walked up & across "swaying suspended bridges 35 feet above the ground, linked to three platforms surrounding magnificent oaks, hickories, and sweet gum trees." Our guide was friendly & informative. We also took some time to look at several of the exhibits in the Learning Center, & we walked around the smaller pond with the beaver dam on the grounds. We all enjoyed our visit.

I was impressed to see how a small facility was big on hands on activities, a variety of animals and habitats, and beautiful green space for families to enjoy. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A must see in Columbus!

The University does a great job keeping the Learning Center interesting and current. There was a kid's birthday party going on when we were there, the kids were having a blast. Got to talk to a registered Georgia beekeeper, we learned a lot from him.

Amazing to see how well used this resource is before 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Interesting exhibits and nice facility but can be a bit crowded when there is a full house of visitors and workers are trying to create a new exhibit at the entrance.

My dad visited from Minnesota recently, so my son and I took him bird watching at Oxbow Meadows! The trails are fantastic and so are the animals on display in the visitors' center! Love this place!

There are so many interesting things to see at Oxbow Meadows! They have a turtle that has the best personality and actually swims to the glass to say hello. We have been going there for years and it just keeps improving. The trail is also a wonderful place to explore and learn.
