I stopped by here as part of the Jackson County Heritage Trail Geo-tour. I loved the tranquility and we enjoyed walking by the buildings. It was extremely peaceful here and I would never have known about it if it weren't for geocaching and the county's excellent tour.My little one loved playing in the sawdust in front of the shed!

It's hard to believe this farm is still in operation and all of the buildings are orginal to there current location. Download the app and take the self guided tour. One of my favorite places to visit!

My favorite is the old country store. As you walk in you literally walk back in time. Seeing all the old products, the farming tools, the piece goods... thanks for giving me a wonderful walk down memory lane.

There are two types of tours you can do here. The self guided tour you can do at anytime and is free. However, the guided tour is great, too. The guided tours are by appointment and can be done April through October. ALSO, remember there is an IPHONE/android app you can download for the self guided tour that is really cool.We brought our cub scout pack for here a big tour in September of 2013 and they loved seeing all the neat buildings and farm pieces. My single most favorite part of the farm is the Cotton Gin. The inside of this building is amazing to look out and appreciate how machinery worked before modern day electronics. My second favorite part of the farm is the Bachelor's Academy School House. It is so beautiful inside and was preserved with a grant a few year ago.Also, they have a big event called Mule Day once a year that is very neat to go to.
