really neat place, excellent wine tasting in this boutique winery. The owners provided the tasting, good price for the amount of wines we tasted, and where very friendly and not pushy about purchasing their wines. They have some unique wines that you will not find in many places. Try the cheese sampler while you are there.

We went on a cold rainy Saturday and had a really nice experience with the wine tasting. We tried a wide variety and the staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. It was also free soup Saturday which was a nice treat. We would definitely go again with friends. The view is not that great but the experience makes up for it.

This was the second stop on a two windery tasting deal and we were happy it was our second stop. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and provided a great experience discussing their wines and other information about wines from North Georgia. We also had a cheese sampler with a great selection of artisan cheeses that topped off the tasting. We purchase a couple of bottles of their Chatuga White and look forward to returning to purchase a few more of their other wines as well.

We drive by this winery often and decided to stop in. I think next time we'll do it on a day besides Saturday. They offer music then and it was too crowded. People behind us kept trying to reach through us to order wines. I felt I was at a bar, not a wine tasting. We could never get the attention of the people serving the wine. The wines were OK, not stellar. Very young - almost watery. The two wines that were actually pretty good were from another winery. We want to come back again when it's not so busy and we have time to let the wines air a bit. One of the whites was cloudy - not a good thing for a wine.We are Napa fanatics and are trying other wineries in other states so we don't get jaded with only liking California wineries.

Owners were friendly and helpful. $5 tasting for five wines. The winery has chairs and swings to enjoy a glass of wine and cheese sampler, as we did! Beautiful mountain view! Must try the wine slush! Yum!

We just made the Vino and vibes event on Saturday. Great atmosphere, great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. This winery charges $5 for a tasting.

Up for the weekend visiting various wineries and then found out that Hightower was having a concert Saturday afternoon. We drank some very good wines, made some new friends and enjoyed sitting on the lawn listening to the music. A must place to visit!

Hiawassee may be a bit off the beaten track, but if you head to the mountains, make a detour to Hightower Creek. This is a fairly new operation - the spindly trunks of the vines show this clearly, but the neatly tended vineyard leads to hope for the future. Being (probably) the highest vineyard in Georgia makes for climatic challenges, and there are some interesting varietals planted here. Whilst the vines mature, much of the production is based on bought-in grapes from other Georgia vineyards. We dropped by on a Saturday afternoon for the regular music session and a glass of wine. A friendly welcome from the owners (and very excited little dog). We left with several bottles of the white wines.

Visited today and LOVED their wines. Not often that you visit a winery, do a tasting, and enjoy every wine offered!!!! We left with a case.....only because we want to come back for more!! Looking forward to visiting on a Saturday, enjoying wine and music. A must!!

Headed to the winery on a Sunday afternoon with a tasting coupon thanks to the wonderful owners of Henson Cove B&B. Upon arrival, I was greeted by 3 furry faces that were very friendly and a great welcoming party. Had a nice, friendly conversation with the owner while tasting some of the available wines. I definitely recommend getting one of the wine slushies (I forget the name they have for them), as it was a nice surprise and mixed up the tried (but true) tasting experience. Went home with a few bottles (and slushie mix for a hot summer day on the lake) and am looking forward to coming back on a live music Saturday later in the year.
