the hart county botanical gardens

Well-maintained, great place for kids to play at playground. Many flowers and plants to enjoy. They have a plant sale every April that is worth the trip. Someone has worked really hard to provide these gardens for the public to enjoy.

We visited The Hartwell Botanical Garden in March with a group of ladies who were at the lake for a visit. The flowers were not yet in bloom but we could see the potential of the community project. The garden is sectioned off into areas and trails lead you through. There is a small ampatheater and a playground for children. There is also a large pavilion. I would give it more points in the blooming season. It's worth a look!
