We really enjoy this park, it is friendly for the pets. They enjoyed walking the trails and playing in the water. We did not have the opportunity but would love to try the water cycles. Lush forests have great hiking trails. Have not stayed overnight but the yerts look fun.

This was a great experience. The camp sites are well defined and laid out. The camp host went above and beyond to help us when we arrived after dark and in the cold. The staff was polite and the park is beautiful and clean.

Nice lakeside trail--out & back. No blazes (not really needed), but there are mileage markers every 1/4 mile. According to the markers, it's 3.25 miles one way. If you start at the parking lot just outside the park, you can walk approx 3.25 miles to the Dauset Trails Nature Center (no dogs allowed) and some other trailheads. This is an extremely popular multi-use trail. We saw 15 mountain bikers and 5 other hikers along the way. Fun hike.

This is a nice place to park for the night with electric and water, cable hookup, washers and dryers, nice level gravel sites with tables and fire rings. The shower house was clean and warm inside. Verizon coverage was two/three bars on LTE. Nice paved interior roads.

A fall afternoon drive brought our family to this quaint little park on hwy 42 just south of Jackson Ga. The visitor center is a beautiful old house with a gift shop. There is a tent and RV campground with nice views of the lake. The spring is in a small brick building with a pipe coming from the spring to fill bottles with. We spoke to some of the people who were collecting the water for there personnel consumption and were told it helps flush your system of any ailment. There's a 3/4 mile loop trail along the river that provided exercise along with some nice photos. We had a picnic dinner by the lake with a nice sunset backdrop.

This is the second time we have brought our 3 year old granddaughter here to swim and both times the experience has been wonderful. The first trip we were there early enough to get a picnic table in the shade but the second trip (luckily) we didn't need the table since we were there later in the afternoon. Both trips were great and our granddaughter loved it!

The beach at the lake is a nice place to swim. BBQ pits and picnic tables around the park make it great for family picnics. Playgrounds are available, as is a putt putt mini golf course, and an old stone pavilion for out door weddings or receptions. The creek is fun to climb through on the rocks, just be careful, wet rock gets slick! Have a great time!

The BEST Family Reunion Ever!!. This is our 20th year camping in Lagrange and I went from playing all day in the dirt to planning and cooking for my own Family. all done in this life time. I will be the next generation to pass the torch, Boy how time fly!!

We went to the office and got a 'trail map' - there is really only one trail, and it's not even in the park. Friendly park staff helped us find it, because the map was terrible! Turn into the grassy field BEFORE the park turnoff and you'll see the sign for the multi use trail. The trail is awesome, hilly but not too terrible and the views of the water are great. After our hike we enjoyed a picnic at the tables inside the park, near the very short 'nature trail', and checked out the spring. Couldn't get past the smell to take a drink, but a lot of folks were filling large containers so I guess plenty of people are braver than I!

We did a quick tour of the park but plan to come back when we have more time. There is so much to do there, from playing in a wide, shallow creek area to renting rowboats, camping at all levels and hosting family picnics. The park is beautifully maintained.

We like to walk the trail over to Dauset Trails Nature Center. Round trip is about 7 miles. It has a good view of the lake for a large portion of the walk. There are a couple of steep hills, nothing too bad. We recently and witnessed a fair amount of wind damage - downed trees and debris. The trail was still passable.

Indian Springs has a GREAT multi-use trail about 6 miles long in and out. Not to difficult, yet does have a few very short steep hills to walk up. Beautiful views of the lake as it winds around the shore line.

This is our first time camping here although we are frequent Georgia State Park campers. The sites are roomy and the ones with a lake view are breath taking! The camp host was very friendly and helpful when we had an electrical issue which he fixed for us. The rangers were all friendly and the park is well maintained. We enjoyed the mini golf. And the hiking trails. Would definitely recommend camping here! Thanks for a great time guys!!:)

This park is overall nice, but we were not impressed by the camping facilities. It is set up to be an RV park, not a tent facility. Tents are required to be on the gravel pads, which is quite uncomfortable. This is also strictly enforced by the nearest stern-faced park ranger. This meant that most of our other camping gear was in the dirt for most of the weekend. Also, access to the spring was limited by the number of folks taking gallons upon gallons of water. The beach for the lake had been closed for the season, despite the fact that the outdoor temp was in the 80s and the water temp wasn't much cooler. This is mid-Georgia and it's not all that cold in September.

Came when the main season was over, so the museum was closed, but was able to visit the springs and look at the old buildings. There was a spring house where you could bring your bottle and fill up with the "health" water, which tastes a bit like sulpher to me. There cabins and campsites which were also closed.
