Whilst in Atlanta we had an afternoon free and we had been told about this park, when we arrived there was a lot of alterations going on and we thought it may be closed but after checking with the staff who were very friendly, they said to carry on and gave us a map with the trails. There was no charge and the trails were not very long, but it was a beautiful setting, unfortunately because of the time of year we only saw a few birds and took a few photos of the cardinals. The park has summer camps for the various schools and give talks on the wildlife that can be seen. So if you have a few hours to spare I would recommend this park.
