pearson farm

This is the 3rd year that I have used Pearson Farms for Christmas gifts of their wonderful pecan and other goodies. Betty in mail order is wonderful to work with. I have been to Pearson Farms and know that the products they grow and sell are of top quality.

I love the pecans I order from Pearson Farm. The delivery is amazing. I always receive fresh pecans and the pecans are delivered before I expect to receive the package. I called to ask a question and received immediate help.

A beautiful drive through pecan groves on the way to Pearson farms. We were there on a Friday morning and the place was busy, and a little noisy, with workers focused on packing up the latest pick of peaches from the nearby fields. When you walk in you are immediately looking onto the packing house floor. It's very visitor friendly, you can view the entire work area from raised walkways. Informational signage is strategically placed so you can learn about the packing process. Lots of use of technology, mechanics and computers to sort and pack, as well as good old fashioned reliance on human eyes and hands to inspect the peaches for appearance. Karen, a friendly shop worker, offered to give us a brief tour of the operations. She was very knowledgable. We enjoyed learning and came away with an increased appreciation for Georgia peaches and pecans. The fresh peach ice-cream is delicious, my hubby thought the fresh pecan ice-cream was better. We left very, very happy with our big box of July Prince peaches, several bags of Elliot pecans and a bottle of pecan oil.

Pearson's has their own Pecan and Peach groves. Their pecans and peaches are top quality. Betty Hotchkiss does a greta job at sending out pecan products and peaches. It is a real treat to vista the Pearson Farm during peach harvest and try their peach ice cream.

Pearson farm is a beautiful place. Their packing shed is quaint and perfectly sized. Not overloaded with information or retail like other sheds. They have tasty peaches, preserves, salsas, and dressings. Watch the peaches being packed and eat some YUMMY peach ice cream! Best peach ice cream in the county and surrounding area. Must see for middle Georgia!
