This was a delightful find. Staff at hotel said we heeded to visit, We almost missed the little sign but found it. Our visit was in December and was beautiful. We plan on going back to see when we visit Chattanooga again in the spring or summer. Had built miniature villages castles and Notre Dame, flying buttresses and all in small pebbles along a little creek . Stop by and relax

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed The Garden. The imagination, and the actual work involved, with this is amazing. What a great place to spend as much time as one wants and marvel at the man-made and natural beauty. We highly recommend this mostly unknown spot. There is no admission; however, there is a donation box if one wishes to contribute to this on-going project.

My husband found this place in a "Best Places" magazine and we set out to find it. He found a number online and called. Good thing because the sign in front of the church is very small. It's behind the 7th day Adventist church on hwy 53 spur.The place is BEAUTIFUL! Flowers galore of all size and color. The pebble structures are incredible. There is a gifted artist behind this masterpiece of sculptures. There are little people inside and around the buildings. So life like. Bring your camera for an amazing photo shoot.

Saw the advertisement in a Ga. magazine and went by to see it on our way back from Chattanooga. It is charming, utterly charming. A work in progress, but worth a thirty minute visit. Behind the church.

I absolutely love "The Garden" (although we call it Pebbletown, there are a few different names its known by). I love that they are always adding more and that it is changing. Its so peaceful to sit out and look at the really neat castles and houses constructed out of pebbles. We usually spend about an hour there when we go but you can see the entire thing in about 20 minutes. Now some of the pathways can be a bit difficult for some people to navigate (narrow, gravel, uneven, etc) and you should supervise children. I wouldn't advise driving too far out of your way to see it unless you like miniatures/fairy houses, its amazing but not that large. Oh and while there is not a charge to see it there is a donation box if you so choose. They use the money to buy more supplies to expand the garden.

There are a few miniature structures made of pebbles. While the building that are here are done very well, there are not many buildings. The entire garden can easily be seen in 15 minutes. I thought there would be more and we drove over an hour to see this. There was obviously a lot of work put into the garden, just not enough to drive any distance to see.

Take the kids! Take the grandparents! Just visit! I was quite surprised to find this hidden treasure. I took my 85 yr old mother, and my aunt to visit. The Garden is a cute little area tucked away behind the Calhoun Seventh Day Adventist Church. Just drive to the back corner of the church parking lot, and you will see a sign "enter at your own risk" and a gravel driveway taking you to the parking lot for the Garden. Upon entering the Garden, you will be wowed by the amazing little stone structures. Look carefully, as you will find hidden little details in many of the buildings (or on the buildings). Can you find the Ten Commandments? The wedding? There are many little figurines throughout the structures. Sadly, vandals have taken some of the figurines. But replacement figurines are planned. I visited a 2nd time with my husband, and I was quite surprised to see little details I missed the first time! This time, we had the privilege to speak the the couple who are sharing their dream. They told their story, and how they are building this Garden. As you leave the Garden, their is a donation pole right next to the arbor. Visiting is free. The trails are a bit narrow, and someone with mobility issues might have some trouble navigating some of the trails. There are benches, seating, and a gazebo for just sitting back and reflecting on the beauty of this Garden. Where else can you see Cinderalla's Castle, the Church of Notre Dame, and Bethlehem all in one place! and plenty of other castles and stone villages too! -- currently there are no bathroom facilities, and I did not see a trash can. Please be considerate and keep the Garden clean for all to enjoy! We will be back for the October candle lighting.

The miniature buildings and beautiful scenery make this a perfect place to relax and have a picnic. I have visited with both children and seniors and all equally enjoyed it.
