Visited Crno jezero (Black Lake) last September and found it very beautiful and peaceful place. Perhaps there is more people in the high season but this time it was perfectly calm. The lake on this altitude is always good to see, and the view from it is even better. You can see some of the peaks in Dormitor National Park and go from there to any point of the park. The best for me is the Savin Kuk (2,313m) peak few hours walk from the lake, but that's only for people who like to hike and climb mountains. Also, you can go and see other high lakes in the are and ridges with better views of the mountain peaks. There is an adrenalin park near the lake, a small hut with a bar for refreshments, bikes to rent etc. The lake is near the entrance of the National Park so it's suitable for everybody to visit. Entrance fee was 3 € - for the whole NP, not for the lake alone. If you really want to explore NP Durmitor stay for few days and just relax in the beauty.

I visited the place during dec month, there was lot of snow around the shoresBut the lake was very beautiful even though very cold..There was a small coffee shop, we stepped in there to get some heat..Altogether a nice experience

It was the low season and we paid to see the lake.. €3 per person.. It's just a lake. Nice and peaceful don't get me wrong but I personally didn't find anything too exciting. In the high season I can see kids everywhere due to the obstacle course and it, at simply be overcrowded. If you're in the area swing by I guess. The guy also charged us €2 to 'watch the car'. What a joke.

Ni e lake, easy walk fromtown, has a cafe onthe shore, if you are reaso ably fit and want a quick taster, this might do, note there is a small entry fee to pay and the park rangers will catch you.

The national park is so lovely. This lake is an easy hike on a solid trail (about 1 hour all the way around). The lake is stunning and the surrounding forest is filled with beautiful black pines. Can't miss place if you are in the area. Small fee to enter (< 5 Euros, more with car).

We parked the car and walked down to the lake which, sited at the bottom of a series of peaks, was beautiful, a lovely stroll around the lake. We got a bit lost following some of the other paths, which are signposted excellently in most place, and then seem to go missing exactly when you need them! Take your time, and enjoy the quiet scenery.

Visited the lake in August 2014. Great place for walking. You do not need to be hiking expert for walk around the lake. A few placed very steep but else very fine paths. The lake can be reached from Zabljak walking too. You can easily spend a day around the lake. Come early and enjoy the silence. Small ffee (3€) for entrance

Path around the lake is very nice and I recommend to all. Offer is well ordered. This is best national park in Montenegro by my opinion. But there are a lot of salesman on the road to the lake. Everyone offer something. Maybe a little annoying..

The lake is a must to see if you are in the Durmitor area. There is a cafe and a crag (de: Klettergarten) at the entrance of the area, but if you walk along the two lakes it is quiet and you have really good views of the lakes and the surrounding mountains. From Zabljak there are several foot paths across a hill to the lakes, so you do not have to walk along the road.

Depending on where you start it is a short walk - not longer than 2 hours -around a picturesque Lake( if the starting point is at the Parking spot.In September the water level is no high so you can make even a shorter loop around just one Lake.Lovely views and comfortable path , it is not a demanding trip...

About 6-8 hours round trip from Zabljak, wonderful views from the top, can see all three lakes, bring plenty of water as you will be in direct sunlight for the last half of the hike and there is only one place I encountered to refill water on the way.

Interesting place, and nice wslk route around the lakes. Blak lake is actually two lakes, bigger and smaller one in shape of number 8. Except lake, there is also other intrresting thigs to do and see. Climbing, rafting on Tara river, other lakrs visits, etc. Worth to come and see and it's just 3 hours from a seaside (Boka Kotorska), so you can go there as well.
