It's in the Casco Histórico de Sanlúcar and close to all the action. The Church of Santo Domingo itself is beautiful and the priest so so nice and simple, speaking to us as we were just having a friendly discussion about life. No need to be Catholic to enjoy his ( short) mass. The street on one side is peatonal ( pedestrian) and meets up with th Calle Ancha which leads you to la Plaza del Cabildo where all those wonderful tabernas offer the best tapas. If you continue straight, the Calle Ancha becomes Calle San Juan ( I think that what it's called!) and if you keep going, you,ll get to another small plaza with a monument. If you go left after that plaza you will be at El Bodegón de Lola where you can have delicious Pinchos Morunos ( small meat brochettes) and great Ensaladila de Gambas. Waiters are super nice, careful though, it gets really really packed on week end nights. A few meters from there is a lovely local Flamenco tablao that you will love! 15E with one drink included. Ask for the price of the bottle of wine before you order it. It was 3 times the price!On the other side of the church, Calle Santo Domingo is where the locals shop, lots of fresh fruit and vegetable shops. It's about 10 mns from the beach, and what a beach!

Me encanto el pórtico de esta iglesia, aunque luego no tiene mucho que ver en su interior. Pero es algo diferente al resto, es atípica y por eso me gusto

Siguiendo la tradición de los Dominicos, este templo es una joya bien cuidada. Merece la pena visitarlo. Muy centrico.

Es una Iglesia del siglo XVI Una construcción de piedra de estilo renacentista. Formaba parte del convento de los dominicos. Tiene un retablo barroco y gran cantidad de pinturas y esculturas.

Por sus medidas, Parece una catedral esta iglesia conventual en su origen, de ahí el compás de entrada, con especies arbóreas traídas de América. Sin llegar en su interior a la altura artística de la O, aquí destaca sobre todo el retablo mayor y la imaginería de la cofradía de los Estudiantes.

Si te gusta el barroco te gustara esta iglesia ademas tiene interesantes frescos imprescindible si se va a visitar Sanlucar

La Iglesia de Santo Domingo es una maravilla, entramos casi sin querer puesto que la puerta lateral estaba abierta y echando fotos en su entrada vimos como estaba abierta. Virgen del Rosario, La Galeona, Cristo de los Milagros, Retablo Mayor, una maravilla...
