记得带上指南针,然后尽量计划出足够的时间散步或骑自行车,真的很神奇。

This is the oldest lighthouse in the world....how cool is that?! If you are into anything marine this is a must see attraction. Parking is plentiful and access by car a breeze. You then have to trek uphill about 1/4 mile to the tower itself. The views of the coast from there are amazing plus you get a sense of history often found only in Europe. The entrance fee is light and certainly worth it but you can enjoy the site just by walking around it. It is worth the trip.

We visited the Torre de Hercules on a recent visit to La Coruna aboard The Oceana.La Coruna was our last port of call before disembarking in Southampton. It is a charming port, unfortunately the trams were being refurbished so were not running, but we had a wonderful walk around the town and beaches, finishing at the Tower. It is well worth the 3 euros entry fee (I think they could easily charge 5 euros). The tour is well laid out and informative, and the view from the top is of course superb. All the staff were very friendly.Well worth a visit.

Stood the test of time and shows that we haven't come far in Civil Engineering in two thousand years.

I went up the Tower of Hercules three times. In 2013, I lived and worked in La Coruna (A Coruña) for 10 months. From the beginning, I appreciated many things about the La Coruna and its culture. One of the sites that impressed me the most, again and again, was the majestic and ancient Roman lighthouse standing on an elevated peninsula a short distance from the center of La Coruna city. The Tower of Hercules (La Torre de Hércules)Although the tower holds a free parking lot for locals and visitors alike and a bus stop, I suggest getting to it by walking the nice promenade along the seashore. While visiting the tower and its surrounding area of walking trails, waves crushing onto rocks and watching a tranquil sunset is free, if you want to get inside the Tower of Hercules, there is a small admission fee of 3 Euros. Totally worth it!Inside the tower, the journey starts with a very informative museum at the base of the tower followed by stairs that will take you through a few floors where you can stop and learn additional information. There are around 230 steps, mostly broad ones; just the last few steps are very narrow as you reach the top.Once at the very top of the tower, the views of the coastline and the Atlantic Ocean on a clear day are simply spectacular. If you are planning for the full experience, make sure to allow at least a couple of hours and that you know at front the Tower of Hercules is open for visits on that day and the hours of operation, which vary based on the season of year.It is definitely an amazing site to experience, inside out, again and again if needed.

The views of the surrounding area and out to sea are great, it is possible to go up inside the tower if you pay but not essential to enjoy the views

Maybe this is the most emblematic attraction of A Coruña. This old lighthouse dates back to the Romans of the 1st century, although the present one was completely rebuilt under King Charles III by Eustaquio Giannini in 1791.

Great views of the Atlantic ocean even on a murky day. Good-looking tower well worth the walk up from the car park. Nice little museum and lovely big park which would be great for a picnic in the summer.

Typical sightseeing point in Coruña. You have to go up a lot of stairs but the view from the top is really pretty. Fun to do and see.

Only in town for a few hours, make this your first stop. The views are great and the building is very impressive. Its a "good" walk up to the site from the main road and the surface is uneven so be prepared if you use any walking aids. If you take your time and rest occasionally you will make it. You can hire segways at the base, but make sure you are confident before going up to the site..Never went up inside the tower, so not sure of the cost.

A tower built at the II Century and transformed in a Lighthouse... the place is since 2009 a World Heritage (UNESCO) and from above you can see the Atlantic ocean. There are also some legends about this place - and what I really appreciate was the astonishing sunset.

I liked the view over the sea and the surroundings (green area and beach). Do not like the view of the city (ugly buildings)

Very cool tower -- one of the best things to check out in this otherwise dull city -- right on the harbor. On a clear day, it is a beautiful sight. Unfortunately, the weather in Galicia pretty much sucks year around.

Before you start call in at the Tourist Office which is situated at the bottom of the path that leads up to the Lighthouse and pick up a leaflet about the lighthouse and the Park it is situated in. The Lighthouse is situated at one end of a large open park, which is punctuated with about 20 modern sculptures, which covers a large area. The lighthouse itself is a wonder of another age.The Roman building is magnificent, and entrance is cheep, you are rewarded with a spectacular view over the coast. The Lighthouse is well worth a visit. I took a local bus 1.30 euro each way, but it is walkable in about 45 minutes each way. I saved my legs for the Tower and Park!the Tower inside and out can be seen in an hour. How long you stay to walk the park is up to the visitor, anything from half an hour upwards

This an interesting destination for a seaside walk. Not far from city centre. The landscape there is beautiful and there is plenty of fresh sea air. Strongly recommend.....
