Went here for my 2 year old son birthday. All staff very friendly and brilliant with young children. Lots of animals which are well kept and clean.Outdoor play areas are really good and the indoor play barn is fantastic for all ages, even adults were having fun in play ship and Castle maze.Lots of interaction with the animals ie pig feeding, cuddles time and hold a owl.Would come here again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to place such a positive a review. We try very hard to ensure our visitors enjoy their visit, whether interacting with our animals, enjoying our woodlands and play areas or taking part in one our many planned event day activities. We are glad that you had the opportunity to hold one of our many owls, it’s a great experience. As you know, many of our animals and birds have been rescued, and are lovingly looked after here for the rest of their lives.

Many thanks for taking the time to post a review. We are so sorry that you felt disappointed with your visit to us, as all our staff try to ensure our visitors have a good time enjoying our animals, birds, play areas and woodlands. We apologise that our lake and out door fort play area were closed on your visit. This was due to water logging of the area from previous rain we had had. We do not like to close areas, but in this instant for safety reasons we had to make the decision to close these areas to the public. I do hope that you were able to participate in the extra activities of pancake cooking on our woodland campfire and craft activities that were made available. We are glad that time was enjoyed in our play barn. Our Pirate ship and and castle always prove to be very popular. We always welcome feedback form our visitors so that we can try to ensure that we continually improve the experience for our visitors.

Thanks for your review. It’s always great to hear our visitors have enjoyed themselves. As your visit was on one of our Christmas Event days, we hope that Santa’s visit was a magical experience and that you managed to toast some bread on our campfire ( or at least keep warm). I know all the animals enjoyed dressing up and performing in our Real Animal Nativity Story and the children were great at singing the Christmas songs.

We attended manor farm for the Halloween party and it was fantastic. Crafts, treasure hunt, campfires, animals and staff dressed up just made my children's day. The play centre was one of the best indoor centres I've been too. I think I'd rather go there than your average indoor play centre on a rainy day. I would totally recommend it and we will go again....I look forward it.The animals are well cared for too!

Grandma with 4 Gr/kids, aged 14, 10, 7 and 3. Weather very mixed, but we had a fantastic time. Place clean and tidy, Animals very well cared for--this was obvious. Play barn is fabulous--so different to any other I have seen. They played for ages on the pirate ship and in the castle--which the 14 year old described as "Awesome!" Cafe food very reasonable, freshly prepared and good quality---and staff kind and helpful. Owls, including opportunity to have these fantastic birds on your hand--was lovely.A very special place, and well worth the journey.(About 45 mins for us) Will be back! Would like to explore the woods and play area there in the future--with better weather.

After 10 years as a nanny and a further 10 years as a mum, I have to admit that I find child activities a little mundane these days, however, from the moment we arrived at the farm, I was pleasantly surprised. First was the lovely warm and helpful welcome from the staff in the cafe, which continued with all other staff throughout the afternoon. We were only there for three hours and it rained most of the time, but there was plenty of places to get cover when the showers became heavier and it didn't stop us enjoying the whole farm. We took advantage of holding a little owl (£1 extra) in the warm, and the lady told my children lots of interesting facts about the owls. Later the children got the chance to stroke a few smaller animals and then helped get the pigs in for their tea. We topped the afternoon off with some time in the lovely warm playbarn while I enjoyed a relaxing coffee from the cafe. We could easily have spent at least another two hours here, but all the more to enjoy in our next visit.

A lovely place to visit with young children. Lots to see and do both inside and out The food in the cafe was ok but nothing special. We would definitely visit again and perhaps take a picnic this time.
