Spent an hour here with our very active 9 month old when visiting his Grandma. It is free entry for adults and free for under 1's which I couldn't believe as in our hometown you have to pay £2 for under 1's and £1 per adult. However, this gave us more money for coffee and scones! The play area itself isn't huge, but certainly the area for babies and toddlers was adequate, safe and clean. Fab way to spend a couple of hours.

Hi,It is a nice place for kids to enjoy and play....... If you are going to arrange a party or attend a party, this place will provide you with comfort and ease everything you would need. Hope you will not regret going there for fun with your kids. Cheers!

I go to The Hive about once a month with my niece, it is very well run and she enjoys it very much. The food is lovely and reasonably priced. The staff are helpful and very pleasant.

This soft play is one of the best near me. My kid loves it. The food is tasty, the staff is friendly. It is clean and a great fun day for the kids. What more do you need! Highly recommend to all parents!!

This is a great soft play with a handy bit for younger children near to the tables so you can have a coffee and still be nearby. The menu is nice and food is reasonably priced. I often meet friends here for lunch and the kids play in the soft play while we chat. It is only about £3.50 per child and adults are free - a great bargain for some peace! x

We come here fairly regularly and my twin boys (who are almost 4) love it. Its not so big that you lose them but enough to keep them entertained for a couple of hours though only with snacks! The music is sometimes a bit loud and on our last visit there was a party so had large number of children in who knew each other (which alters the play a little i feel)

Took my grandchildren here and can say they had an absolute ball. We are not from the area but were visiting family. Great seating area where I could enjoy a coffee while the kids played safely. Staff were all very nice. Great day out with the children.

Very nice soft play centre - lots for the kids to do and parents can relax with a cup of coffee and watch the kids at the same time. Recommended!

this place has lots of things for the kids to do, my 7 and 2 year old loved it. however my only complaint is that there is not enough seating places for the adults, when we were their it was busy and they were still letting more people in. there was also a kids birthday party on. i was there with my disabled mum who needs to sit down. as it was jam packed she had to sit in the car and miss the kids playing. maybe they should limit the amount of people they let in at a time.

I've been here a few times with my toddler. It is a really lovely soft play center. Unlike many others it actually has windows letting in natural light which makes a huge difference. It's always clean and the staff are very friendly. It's also really reasonably priced. Occassionally it can be a wee bit on the chilly side when it's not that busy so maybe take a cardigan and think socks if you plan to get in amongst the soft play stuff (no shoes allowed!). They also make a great cup of tea!
