Good place for the family not sure about stroppy teens though but certainly my husbadn and I enjoyed it, I remember in the 80's seeing the Herring Queen hoping to be back this year to see the Herring Queen again but this time taking our children in the summer time when they held this public event can't wait. Sit in and Eats come in shape of cafe, bar and small shops here too. Also where they dock the fish and the market is right there for you to see hte fishermen wiht their catch of the day.

Eyemouth Harbour an area steeped in tales of pirates but also the sad stories of fishermen who went to sea and did not return plenty of great sights and wonderful Scottish Folk who will make you feel so Welcome

A nice working harbour with lots of greedy seals and the inevitable gulls, worth a visit at any time of the year

This is a proper working harbour with lots of boats - its full of people who work on the boats who are happy to chat for five minutes. Well worth a wonder round.

You can watch the seals in the harbour and watch the fishing boats unload and laugh as the seagulls try and pinch some of the catch out of the boxes

very good walk from caravan park where you can see a few seals and get to feed them great for the kids. Down side a couple of places where you could go for meals is closed ie:pubs even if you do not like a drink always good to go for a meal.

Well what can I say? Eyemouth was very disappointing. We decided to stay over night, neither of us had been before. As a young couple we like to explore places & expected the harbour to be quaint with a few traditional pubs. The harbour feels quite run down, there is a pub all closed down & boarded up. The only place which seemed half decent was oblo's where we had a nice meal. There were a couple of other bars but they weren't up to much.

We visited Eyemouth Harbour in July 2014. This is historical place to visit. If you love fishing it may be interesting to visit Eyemouth Harbour. We went to buy fresh fish caught from the sea. There are fish and chips shops in the Eyemouth harbour. Parking is not expensive. Children can see fishing boat in this harbour. I could see two seals playing in the sea water in the harbour.

The harbour is a great example of a small Scottish working harbour that still has some big trawlers in it along with lots of other smaller fishing boats. If you want you can feed the local seals in the harbour some herring scraps from the edge, they are fat. Eyemouth also has a really nice crescent shaped beach that curves around to some cliffs which you can take a coastal walk to Coldingham and St Abbs Head.

Loved feeding the sea lions and having a walk around, there is a place you can buy food to feed them however the woman was very unfriendly and grumpy.
