An excellent place to visit for a nice walk with or without the dog. Play park and visitor centre if you bring kids.

Such a beautiful, peaceful place. It won't let me select an earlier date, I actually visited in 2011 and I cooked a curry in the park lol. I also kayaked. I had an amazing time and would go back again in an instant! Highly recommend

We take Crombie for granted because it's just up the road. Have just come back from a walk with the dogs and children, taking the obligatory snacks and drinks. Entrance fee is £2.50 per car - a steal. It's such a beautiful place to walk and get away from it all. We were in the park for 3.5 hours and the boys had a great time. Took a ball and after kicking it for the dog for hours, the boys had some downtime in the playpark. Had to drag them away in the end. Aren't we lucky to have this wonderful park?

This is a beautiful place for a relaxing walk and going by how many others are walking they obviously think so too. I've been a few times and the park is especially nice when the rhododendrons are in bloom. The best times for a walk are either early in the morning or a couple of hours before closing. Crombie gets John's vote.

We come here almost every weekend our dog absolutely loves it! Such a scenic walk. I dk think they need more bins around the water as there is often bags of dog poo left about and I have a few times had to carry our poo bag all the way around which is a bit of a spoiler! Parking attendant always cheerful and helpful :)

We love visiting crombie, its a nice easy walk around the loch and the kids play park is very good, once a fortnight there is a free kids club, the young naturalists get to do all sorts of fun activities. The only disappointment being the amount of dog poo, being a dog owner myself I find it extremely annoying that other owners do not pick it up!

perfect place for a stroll, suitable for all ages. relatively flat so makes easy on the legs, wonderful scenery with a variety of wildlife. We had a pleasant walk and found a lovely place for a small picnic.

Forfar is a lovely wee place to visit- not massive by any means, still has that country town feel but with all the conveniences of a bigger town. Visited a friend who lives in the town and we had a lovely day strolling about the town and visiting the sites. As it was a lovely sunny day though, though a bit chilly, we decided to indulge in some famous 'Forfar bridies' and sit in the park. The park was very nice and the bridies were 'AMAZING'!! If you get the chance I would definitely recommend a visit to Forfar. Spend some time in the town and enjoy the small country village feel

I regularly walk round Crombie and just love it. Flat so easy and the scenery changes. The reservoir has lots of wildlife and watching the family swan each year is just great. Mother on the next being watched over by dad, the eggs hatch and soon little balls of fluff can be spotted, then they start out on the water with mum and dad and gradually mature. Swans are such good parents. Lots of other wildlife including deer, red squirrels, wood peckers and lots of other bird life. Just great. Oh and lots of facilities for picnicking, bowing and helpful rangers

We had a lovely walk round the old reservoir. probably not the best time of year, the trees are all in full growth so views of the birds on the water are rather restricted. Must be lovely in spring and autumn. Perhaps more of a local facility than a visitor attraction.

I used to come here as a child, and recently returned as a middle aged adult. As a child I found the woods to be an adventure playground. As an adult I found the woods to still have an air of mystery and expectation. And I wasn't dissapointed - saw 2 deer whilst walking - quite close up. As many of the other reviewers say - take a picnic. Take a frizbee, football, etc - there are loads of areas to play with the youngster. Great day out for the cost of parking the car (think it was £2.00)

I go once every two months and so enjoy my walk around the Park.If you are quiet you sometimes see a red squirrel or two, and sometimes a small deer.Been coming here for past 20 years, in early days was a great place for the kids to play and explore. It is a walk for all seasons as there is always something in nature to see.A small charge for parking, if no attendant then there is an honesty box.If you meet any of the wardens they are always happy to share a wee story about has been going on.There are even barbecues for hire, for those nice warm days.Great family walk and relatively easy as it is flat, paths are natural ground in the main but relatively trip free.

As a child I have loved Crombie. The walk itself is very refreshing! You can go out on the man made loch to row! Hidden in the trees are bird boxes for the admirers, pieces of agricultural history and times before. Nice play park for the kids. A good, free day out. Bring a picnic, there are no catering facilities.
