The Cathedral Quarter is great to walk around and packed full with great bars and restaurants. It tends to be busy on the weekends so definitely try and reserve tables for restaurants in the area if you can.

This is a lovely area and lots to see ,plenty of nice walks Head for the Main Cathedral and fund do where for lunch you are sure to find a good place for a nice cup of tea or a Coffee of your choice you will end up I'm sure having a chat with a local wether it's about the weather or are enjoying your stay?

The Belfast Cathedral Quarter is a great place for a night out on the town whether with your loved one or a group of friends. Full of great pubs, clubs and eateries this area is lively and has great atmosphere in the evenings.

The harp bar had a good vibe and a good guitar player. Plenty of nice restaurants to choose from. The Duke of york is a nice bar and the murals across the way are fantastic

Surrounded by bars and nightclubs that are all different in they're own way, a superb place to head with friends, weather it be for a quiet drink or a mad night out!!!

Stayed in this area for five days, it's a superb place to stay for exploring! There are plenty of attractions to see within a short walking distance of each other. And belfast City is literally a stones throw away, I would definitely recommend staying in this area if you wish to explore what Belfast has to offer!

The Renaissance of Belfast continues with the Cathedral Quarter. The main attraction is the Cathedral, go inside and see the spire from the inside, it's breathtaking. Also try the restaurant s and bars.

The Cathedral Quarter is the new social hub of Belfast and is popular with locals and tourists alike. There are a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets! The Mac Theatre is an important focus for both plays and exhibitions. It's right in the heart of the city but access to motorway and arterial bus routes , mean that it can be enjoyed by all.

A walk along the cobbled narrow streets will take you past The Black Box - a small live music venue where you can also grab a coffee or some food or maybe even a poetry reading. Then you have to visit The Duke of York pub - olde worlde. Set in a stunningly well kept alley with wonderful murals detailing famous Irish musicians and sports people. If visiting in the daytime, try to go into The Dark Horse for a coffee - just to take in the amazing refurbished interior and do make a visit to the 'water closet' to read some Yeats! The extremely helpful barman also gave us leaflets on the murals just outside.There are lots of restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes in the area, although they tend to be extremely busy on Saturday nights so worth booking in advance if you want to eat somewhere in particular.For that extra special treat a cocktail in the bar of the 5 star Merchant Hotel in Waring Street is always nice.St Anne's Sq has the MAC museum/art gallery &it heater and is surrounded by more restaurants.There is a multi storey car park here which is great for visiting this area but also only a short walk from the rest of the city centre!

This area of Belfast has been dilapidated for a long time, but in recent years has seen and explosion of refurbishments, make-overs, new builds etc making it my favourite part of Belfast's city centre. There are original narrow cobble stone streets - you can just imaging horses & carts clip-clopping along these! They are a high-heel logistical nightmare though, so be careful.The streets are crammed with trendy cafes, bistros, restaurants, bars, clubs etc giving everything from cosy and intimate to lively and full of personality!

lots of old buildings and sites to see pretty area locals are so polite if you ever thought Belfast has a bad reputation think again visit and be pleasantly surprised they are a lovely city and people.
