We stayed for 6 days in Levi and had an amazing time. Even if you don't ski the whole time there is plenty to do. Horse riding, husky sledding, snow mobile, spa treatments!! Lovely place to visit!! Can't wait to come back!!

What a very well run place indeed. It was our first time skiing and we had booked in advance but we were nervous and worrying about skis , boots , passes.. but we needn't have bothered all very well organised and everything ran smoothly . First you get your lift passes at the front kiosk then turn left around the corner to register on the computer ( self serve ) and get it printed out .. It's a bit like an ATM receipt then tell the lady near the ski boots your size and try them on.. When finished over to the ladies behind the desks and ask for your skis you will be given skis based on weight and height. Also grab a locker for your ski boots not worth the Agro carrying them around and just get a normal locker at €3 a pop per day we did this and I can confirm they do not stay wet at all regardless of what the reps say.. We shared the locker that's 2 pairs will fit. We carried the skis as we stayed only 5 mins away.Overall a brilliantly well run place bit pricey on the food and drinks but otherwise perfect.

Uncrowded, beautiful views, long wide runs. Not as many piste cafe's/bars as France/Austria etc but the few that are here are good. Also Koti's are a good place to stop and warm up if you need to.Not many chair lifts, lots of long T-bars however all have assistants at the start to help if necessary.

The snow is soft and plentiful the slopes are wide and not very crowded, so an excellent place to practice with over 20 blue slopes and nearly 20 red slopes it is perfect for beginners, but for experienced skiers you will be bored after just one day

We've been coming to Levi for our annual family skiing holiday for about 9 years and the place continues to be a firm favourite. It's not the alps, but if you're looking for a quieter more relaxed ski resort this is the place.Admittedly the runs are nowhere near as challenging but that suits us being quite nervous skiers. The resort is very well maintained and the addition of the new chair lift this year was very welcome.

For easy skiing and teaching kids safely this is good and diversified location. Likely the best for family holiday. The few black slopes are relatively easy still. Wind and snow fall may distract the day on most demanding runs as gondola and south piste new six seater lift seem to close easily due windy weather. Costly place but offers variety of Lapland attractions around and multiple really good restaurants in short walking distance.

Very commercial place to have nice ski holiday.Apartments and cottages near by ski resort has terrible beds. And at slopes, beware and keep asking when they close elevators, cos they sold for us fullday tickets and slopes was open 1h after we both them.

Most choices to anyone, kids and beginners taken care of, best slopes, good lifts, good services, easy access and transport... It all comes with a little higher price tag.

Have just finished my second trip to Levi - and I don't ski!!! I hired a snowmobile and toured around the area on my own armed with a map. Excellent snow mobile routes. Had an awesome time. There is plenty to do if you Ski and plenty to do if you don't. Fantastic walking trails, cross country skiing trails. The town itself is small but has plenty of shops and restaurants and a couple of reasonably priced supermarkets. Don't worry about being cold either - if you have the right gear it isn't a problem and inside buildings it is really warm. I will be going back again. Also got to see the Northern lights on both trips, very lucky.

This is the 5th year we have been here and it’s fantastic! Mainly because it’s empty, you can concentrate more on your skiing and not trying to find a gap on the slope. Not much for the experienced skier but great for novice and intermediates.Last week was the official opening of South point which has a new six person chair lift. Their was a large opening day with free food and hot chocolate etc. Right in the middle of one of their school holiday weeks we hit the largest queue I have ever seen in Levi and I timed the wait……….eight minutes! We had no complaints. The place can get cold and we have had a week were the temperature did not get above -24’C and down to -37’C. However it’s not normally that cold we had from -15’C to a +1’C last week. In addition to the skiing there is the night life and restaurants, Father Christmas, Husky rides, skidoos, reindeer , Ski kites and of course watching the northern lights while stood on a frozen lake, spectacular. I am torn between telling the world about this wonderful place and keeping it to myself because at times some of the slopes feel like their part of your own private resort.

Excellent slopes for beginners & intermediates - if you are looking for something more challenging then go somewhere else. No queuing at the lifts - quiet slopes and lots of snow. Be aware that 90% of the lifts are t-bars but apart from that lovely scenery skiing through the trees. Lots & lots of red & blue runs - and an easy to follow piste map

Not too many hard slopes which for us was great as we are beginners. Lots of open spaces not too crowded. Only problem for us was that there were lots of button lifts and we snowboard which made our life a little harder, but if you dont mind the button lifts its a great place.

These are great slopes for all the family - we stayed South Levi. Loads of snow and not to crowded and we went for New Year. I would recommend it if you have never been to Finland.

Just returned from a family holiday to the beautiful Levi. Some of us were new skiers and others intermediate. There was enough for all of us to do on the slopes. Great views. Weather was fantastic sunshine and plenty of snow all week. Friendly staff and plenty of restaurants and pubs to use at reasonable prices. All in all a great week away. Couldn't of asked for a better place to experience lapland.Highly recommend.

We were fully aware that there are no mountains and the runs would be smaller, however we were pleasantly surprised at how good they were and to be honest there was more than enough to do. Lots of off piste through the trees and powder, snow always in great condition, maintained well. No scary or awkward dismounts from lifts. As a snowboarder the prospect of lots of T bars was a little worrying, but they were fine too and the staff were there to help which was refreshing. The slopes here are very quiet, the people are all calm and happy, the snow park wasn't full of hot heads and its perfect for learning. Snowboarders and skiers came in equal amounts. It was great being on the flood lit slopes after dark, meant that you could start your day at a relaxed and leisurely pace and fot in any of the excursions and still have some time skiing/ boarding. I've been places with long steep runs which are also great, but this was a very different approach, more enjoyable, probably spent more time boarding as we wasn't navigating out way through the mountains on gondolas for half the day. I'd recommend a trip to Levi for anyone, young, older, familys, couples, skiing, snowboarding, learning or experienced and for people who are not any of the above and just want to go and enjoy this wonderful place. It offers so much more than being on the slopes so don't be put off by the size and embrace the whole experience. As for the cold!! Yes it is! But with the right layers its forgotten about and you'll be surprised at how quickly you acclimatise to it.
