My husband is based in the region for work and this is our favourite place to bike. It is stunningly beautiful. Great for bird watching. You can bike all the way to the Croatian border following the salines. A must do if you are nearby.

We reached the parc from the side of Seca by car.We walked through the fields where they harvest salt till we reached a small exhibition and cafe. On the way there is also a curio shop where one can buy salt products and some books too.I feel the place has potential and it is great to see they cultivate old traditions, but I expected more.First - no salt was visible but they said it is due to a rainy summer this year - nobody's fault.Second - they claimed to have an interactive exhibition but it was turned off... So we checked out the traditional part only.The ticket also included an entrance to the museum, but we would have to go to the other side of the parc, from Croatia border and we gave up.Perhaps it would be more valuable experience to take a boat tour or to reach from Croatia, I am not sure.

there is nothing to dislike, its a must! It has a lot to offer and a lot to learn. Lovely nature park and lovely views.

Fascinating to find out how salt has been harvested over the years - the area is being renovated and many of the production areas are now in use. The museum is very interesting with all of the boards and the film being recorded in various languages. The cafe/bar is very good and serves excellent ice cold beer. The gift shop sells a wide variety of salt related products including chocolate with salt which is gorgeous. It is quite a long walk from the entrance to the museum etc but there is a small train that will drop you off wherever you want for no charge.

Si tratta di un bel giro da fare magari in primavera quando nel prezzo di € 6,00 ti danno anche la bici, in inverno invece paghi sempre 6 euro per girare a piedi e vedere poco visto che non c'è attività e non si può vedere la raccolta del sale e come si forma, quindi il prezzo del biglietto in inverno andrebbe decisamente diminuito. Il posto è comunque suggestivo soprattutto il giro vicino al confine Croato dove si passa tra le case abbandonate dei Salinari, il paesaggio è unico e particolare.

Siamo stati in questo posto in un periodo poco fortunato perché in inverno le saline sono letteralmente ferme, infatti iniziano i primi lavori in marzo. Per questo motivo e anche per il fatto che in questo periodo è scarsa anche la fauna che di solito abita le saline, che la visita è stata abbastanza noiosa, solo una buona camminata. Sarebbe stato interessante se ci fosse stato qualcosa di più, diciamo che è un attrazione turistica creata dal niente e che in questo periodo torna ad essere niente.

Запахи. Цвета. Идешь, вдыхаешь, смотришь. Наслаждаешься. Покупать сувениры, на мой взгляд, особого смысла не имеет, лучший сувенир - воспоминание, идешь/стоишь и впитываешь...

La posizione dell'hotel, le terme, le passeggiate lungomare, la pulizia delle strade ed il rispetto dell'ambiente, l'organizzazione.

Splendida cornice di tranquillità. Passeggiata salutare ed interessante in mezzo alle saline. Presente all'interno del parco uno shop con i prodotti delle saline.

Sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo.. Quest'anno niente sale a causa della meteo... Bella la sala con museo e video... Ottimi i prodotti nel negozio vicino all'ingresso da Portorose.. Buona organizzazione in generale.. Bravi!!!

Beide Teile der Salinenanlage sind sehr empfehlenswert, eine wunderschöne Natur, abgeschieden, ruhig.Wer den Teil zwischen der slowenischen und kroatischen Grenze besuchen möchte, muss seinen Personalausweis/ Pass unbedingt mitnehmen. Man muss den slowenischen Grenzposten überqueren und hier die Papiere vorzeigen. Nur so kommt man zu dem zweiten Teil der Anlage, der wesentlich ruhiger und einsamer ist.

Très agréable de se promener au milieu des salines, malheureusement les hommes n'étaient pas au travail durant notre passage, à cause des fortes pluies de la veille. Lieu dépaysant, surtout la ballade à vélo dans la 2e partie de la visite, au coeur de l'ancien site d'exploitation du sel.
