The cathedral rebuilt after a fire in the 1400's. The interior is very ornate with statues, carving at the top and bottom of the pillars, paintings and stained glass.

absolutely beautiful :) stunning decor, mesmerising mosaics, climbing to the top extremely reasonably priced and lovely views.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Duomo in Enna. It is magnificent, understated building from the exterior. The interior is spacious, with fine pillars and interesting works of art. The stained glass windows above the altar give a glorious colourful enhancement to the atmosphere of the building, especially when the sun is shining through them. It is a beautiful, peaceful building and worth visiting.

What can I say? This was an unexpected, moving and uplifting moment on Good Friday. Some three thousand men process in the Confraternities. Look at Utube files. Pictures and video do not capture the spirit. One has to be there. Put it on your list. And while you are in Sicily go to the Valley of the Temples and Villa Romano. Sicily should become the next tourist hot spot in the years ahead. Get there before the rush.

struttura dalla diverse stratificazioni stilistiche dal gotico sino al barocco.Magnifico il prospetto porticato al culmine di un'ampia scalinata. su cui domina il campanile del seicento.Bellissimo l'abside ed il transetto appartenenti all'originaria costruzione gotica.Colpiscono le stupende colonne in basalto nero, decorate alle basi come nei capitelli.Tra le tante opere d'arti all'interno meritano osservazione due leoni stilofoli e le sculture.Da ammirare il soffitto in legno della navata centrale.Di grande effetto il Crocifisso che pende al centro dellachiesa,i dipinti delPaladini e da non perdere la sagrestia

je n'ai pas pu voir l'intérieur car je suis venu un dimanche. la facade est très jolie. surtout le soir quand la pierre prend une couleur dorée.

Достаточно обычный снаружи Собор великолепен изнутри. Вечером его двери открыты и в нем нет ни души. Рассматривать убранство собора можно часами. Очень понравился.

Einen Besuch wert, etwas mühsam der Aufstieg, aber ansonsten lohnt sich ein besuch immer. Beim Abstieg vom alten Bergdorf Enno nach Enno basse bietet sich ein grandioser Blick über die Provinz Enno.

Un prospetto quasi monolitico, con il campanile centrale slancia e verticalizza.L'interno si presenta molto interessante, con i suoi decori e la bellissima navata principale coperta di un altrettanto singolare soffitto a cassettoni in legno massello.

Très belle façade pour cette cathédrale à l'architecture imposante. L'intérieur est aussi splendide notamment l'orgue, le portail en cuivre sculpté ainsi que le plafond et la charpente.

Fuori imponente. Dentro pieno di dettagli architettonici e decorativi degni di nota. Spicca il soffitto con i suoi cassettoni lignei pregevolissimi.Da vedere.
