We rent our equipment in Boarderline on January 2015 (ski and snowboard). They have very good equipment and the staff is very attentive and helpful, specially Paolo who knows everything about ski, snowboard and the ski areas! He gave us a lot of tips, suggestions and instructions!! We had a great time at Cortina thanks to Boarderline and Paolo!!!

Paolo and his crew do a fabulous job!! They knew us from our online reservation as "TEXAS" and they were ready and waiting for the four of us. We were traveling elsewhere in Europe and we did not want to pack ski pants and parkas. We have never rented ski clothing before and the clothes were clean and we had choices of sizes and colors. Excellent people to fit our clothing and Paolo was exceptional with the boots and skis. VERY VERY convenient--you rent your stuff and it's just a short walk to the Faloria cable car up the mountain. Really a first rate operation.

Did a snowboard tour with Francesco. Although snow conditions weren't the best, we had a great day. He was very professional, attentive and made a great day even better. Chatting on the lifts and sharing info if the area gave the day a real nice touch. He took us to the best area/conditions possible and the whole experience was excellent! The communication with Giorgio to make the arrangements was very good. He responded right away to all my inquiries and questions before I arrived which made things very simple for me. They offered me to join another couple rather than by myself w/guide, which saved me a lot of money! The whole crew were all so nice and helpful. A great way to see the beautiful mountains with some really good people! It felt like i was with some friends for the day rather than a service!

This was my first experience skiing, and Paulo and his wife made it an unforgettable one! The minute me and my girlfriend walked into the shop, we knew we were in good hands. We received honest and clear advice about the choice of equipment and conditions to ski, which other rental places couldn't provide us. It's obvious that Paulo is an expert and he provides the best service for people looking to rent anything from boards, skis and snow clothes (Jackets, gloves, goggles, you name it!). All the prices for ski gear in Cortina are relatively the same, but Paulo has a much wider variety and the best quality. I was dressed to feel like a pro despite being a first-timer. Will definitely be back!Thank you Broaderline!

I stayed in Cortina in February 2014. Popped into the shop to rent a board and met Giorgio, the proprietor. You can tell that Giorgio lives and breathes snowboarding, and his enthusiasm is absolutely contagious. He listened carefully to what I was looking for in a board (freeriding), and then showed me a good selection of boards to buy, spending time on each one to explain pros and cons - his knowledge of boards and all of the latest technology is unsurpassed. As a result I am super happy with the board I bought there.Because I was so impressed with his knowledge, I booked a couple of lessons with Giorgio - first time in my life as I never took lessons before - for him to check my style and see where I can improve, and to explore Cortina's free riding opportunities. Like with most self-taught boarders, I was pretty confident that I am fairly good at it. And this is where Giorgio really shines I think. Obviously, there was 101 things wrong with my style - but Giorgio didn't try to correct every single aspect of my boarding straight away - instead he very patiently concentrated on a couple of very key aspects, which we had nailed down by the end of the day, and which in turn helped to improve many other defficiencies. I was lucky enough to go off piste with Giorgio for 2 sessions, and I came away with so much improvement and confidence that I cannot recommend him enough for anyone, even those who consider themselves pretty expert. Many of the top boarders on and off the slopes that I could see knew Giorgio very well, as many of them were taught by him from a young age, as I later found out. Great experience at the shop, very impressed by the patience and enthusiasm of Giorgio and his staff on the slopes - we will be coming back again this season purely on the back of the great experience with Boarderline that I had on my last visit.

My daughter and I hired skis from Boarderline having initially booked on line. Paulo and his team were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I have no hesitation in recommending Boarderline for any of you skiing or snowboarding needs.

This was my first visit to Cortina, and I had no idea what to expect- I visited in February of 2014, and arrived to find 4 meters of snow! The town was still digging itself out, but my first order of business was to find Centro Borderline. After a great chat with Paolo, he recommended I use Jones board. I had not rode one before, but with all the powder, i needed a great board. Paolo spent a lot of time showing me what areas to visit for the best conditions, and he was spot on. He clearly has a passion for snowboarding, and it was fun to just hang out and talk. I recommend Borderline for anyone looking to enjoy the mountains surrounding Cortina!

Recommendation of skis by Paolo was perfect. So perfect, I ended up buying them. The shop is fantastic, the local information of the area was invaluable. I will be back again and again and again.

Paolo and his team in Boarderline are perfect again. We have visited his shop in the heart of Cortina for both snowboard hire (top line) and also Ski hire (medium line). On all occasions Paolo guided us towards what we require for our particular level of skiing & snowboarding, making sure that everything was setup perfectly and nothing was ever too much trouble. On our more recent visits we have just hired Ski's and I have taken in my own board to make sure everything is setup correctly for the conditions that are expected the next day, again Paolo offering his expect advice and tips! and even telling us the best slopes to visit on that particular day.To finish off what was a great holiday this year we took Paolo's advice and hired a Ski Guide for the day. Although he tried all week to get a guide for us to have for the entire day we unfortunately were told this was not possible....... but all was not lost, as Paolo then offered himself as the guide!!!! Perfect!! what guy would leave a busy shop to ski guide all day? we did the Sella Ronda Tour and it was modified for our level and depending on how busy the slopes were.We will always visit Boarderline when in town, and recommend them to anyone we know who travels to Cortina. Paolo the legend & the whole Boarderline team!!

Strongly recommend you visit boarderline. On arrival in Cortina our group needed some equipment and we had some of our own equipment serviced. The hire equipment and servicing was first class and at very reasonable prices. We tapped into Paolo’s local knowledge of the area which is immense covering the best areas to go to dependent upon weather & conditions as well as good restaurants and local food etc on the slopes and in the town. Paulo's advice was 100% valuable. The highlight of our week was booking Paolo for a day’s guidance that was totally mindblowing. If you don’t want to miss out in Cortina, do not miss Boarderline and Paolo.

Easy to reserve equipment on line and delighted to meet Paolo when we arrived to pick up skis and boards. Paolo is friendly and has a great sense of humor. He's very knowledgable about equipment and with a few quick questions he can size up your ability and needs. There were 5 of us who rented equipment and we were all extremely satisfied with the gear and experience.

Boarderline is a great place to rent snowboards and skis in Cortina. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the store is located one minute from the free ski shuttles. There is also a good pizza place next door for a quick slice.

My family and I arrived in Cortina D'Ampezzo with no ski gear as our trip from Australia was not planned. Across the road from our Hotel Ambra and the closest ski hire to the Faloria cable car we found the smiling boss, Paolo who welcomed us to his store. The experience began with he and his two very helpful female staff members who immediately recommended the respective skis and boots and tuned them all overnight awaiting our collection in the morning. The pricing was very attractive and we have returned to increase the size of one of my daughter's skis where they very happily arranged newly waxed skis. Paolo also provided us with maps of the ski area and recommended where we should ski. He also provided me with a suggested meal being the local Cortina plate called ,Casunziel which I highly recommend. A ski hire shop that provided so much more than skis. I Highly recommend them based on the best service. He is a good bloke too!

The people at the shop were great. I rented my board using the on line pay pal service and it was so easy. Then I emailed what board I wanted along with the particulars of binding angles. Everything was ready to go the day I showed up. Paolo was full of local knowledge about the mountain and town. I would recommend this shop to all boarders. Don't rent a board in a local ski shop. Go see Paolo!!
