People get easily confused between the Chocolate museum and the Art museum. Yes, you read that correct. an ART museum. If that's considered to be art.. As you approach the buildings, on your right hand is the Entrance of the Chocolate shop AND CHOCOLATE MUSEUM. but the Ritter Museum is just an "art" museum, with various exhibitions, a cafeteria, and a shop at the entrance. I was really disappointed, it was the most boring exhibition-museum I've ever been to! literally, just silly stuff that rich people would probably buy to show off. I can still not understand why these things are considered to be art.anyway, I'll post another comment on the right place, about the Chocolate museum

Impressive modern building. Fascinating and inventive exhibitions. Super restaurant. Very pleasant short local walks. Appealing in any season but breathtaking in winter.

Great for a quick tour and history of Ritter Chocolate with a vast selection of chocolates available for purchase.

We go for the chocolate factory store. If it's close to lunch, we sometimes eat here because it's convenient. Frankly, the service isn't the best. The food is OK. The atmosphere in the summer is great with outdoor seating, but in the winter things get a little tight in this small bistro. OK prices.

A chocolate museum not only for chocolate lovers, but for those who want to know more about the Ritter Sport history and the old TV chocolate commercial. The Shocoshop is also recommended for its good prices and the variety of products you do not find in the supermarket.

The museum gives a very good historical perspective of chocolate and the growth of Ritter Sport candy. Love the idea of having a store connected to the museum - great candy deals! Nice restaurant next door; overall great experience - well worth the visit.

Visit the chocolate store! In the very back there are "specials." The prices for the chocolate are always better than in the German retail stores and you can find some "test" flavors. The shop is free unless you buy something :)

The concept of the Museum is chocolate and square in art, which makes the museum a very interesting art exhibition. However I personally found the price for the art exhibition as overpriced. Most people however go to the exhibition rooms in the same building, which presents the origin of cocoa and the production of chocolate in a way even small children understand.The museum has a large factory store, selling nice ritter sport chocolates in different design packages. If you just want chocolate for yourself and the packaging doesnt matter, there is a section for "damaged" chocolate for very good price. Chocolate quaility is the same good ritter sport quality. :)

Das ritter-museum ist ein besuch wert. Das gebäude liegt direkt neben dem werk von ritter sport in einem imposanten gebäude. Der eintritt ins firmen-museum ist kostenlos und verfügt über ausreichend parkmöglichkeiten. Die räumlichkeiten sind übersichtlich, mit viel glas und liebevoll gestaltet. Soweit ich das beurteilen kann ist das museum auch behindertengerecht. Der angeschlossene schoko-shop ist auch einen besuch wert. Da der andrang im museumscafe recht groß war und kein tisch mehr frei war konnte dies nicht beurteilt werden. Das kunstmuseum im selben gebäude hat mich doch enttäuscht. Sechs euro eintritt und dann hat es mich noch nicht mal sonderlich vom hocker gehauen. Naja, aber das eigentliche museum ist zu empfehlen und einen besuch wert.

Das Quadrat beherrscht alles, vom Gebäude-Kubus über den Garten- und Landschaftsbau bis hin zu den Kunst-Exponaten - gewollt u n d gekonnt, ohne penetrant zu sein. Erstaunlich, was deutscher Mittelstand leisten kann, so wie Ritter-Schokolade überall in der Welt immer aus Waldenbuch kommt. Kunst (Museum), Wissen (Schokolade) und Belohnung (Schokoladen) perfekt vereint.

Museum Ritter: darunter versteht man das Kunstmuseum, das mit quadratischer Kunst überzeugt. Nebenan gibt es dann noch ein Schokomuseum und den Schokoladen. Hier kann man einen netten Nachmittag verbringen.

Interessante kunstausstellung, schokoladenwerkstatt für Kinder, sehr schönes Café mit Terrasse,Schöne Radtour von Dettenhausen aus. Bummel durch Waldenbuch mit sehenswertem Heimatmuseum im schloss.

Wann immer man in der Nähe ist, sollte man den Besuch des Museums in Erwägung ziehen. Sehr interessant und informativ.
