Europe's largest private technology museum. Spend the day. Climb into a Concord. Hundreds of race cars. Movies. Old machines. Too much to see in one day. Airplanes displayed as if flying, some hundreds of feet in the air.

Went there with our 6 year old son as an alternative to Mercedes museum. Seeing the inside of the planes was awesome. Many exhibits and a quite some interractive displays. It wasn't very good that they needed payment, but overall was worth it.

More mechanical items than you ever thought possible. Most fun, of course, is climbing in the Concorde airplane and then sliding down into the museum far below.

We visited the Sinsheim Museum this summer as a family trip with our two boys and had lot of fun. We previously visited the Speyer twin Museum a few years ago, and both museum are quite similar. In Speyer are the Concord and the "concord like" Tupolev, while Speyer has a 747 Jumbo and the Russian space shuttle. Both museum are fantastic for lovers of cars, plane, train, tanks... You see the original Daimler first car, the "blue flame" and many others exciting machines. The collections are well presented in big halls where planes hang over you while hundreds of beautiful cars are lined up with explanations. You can spend a day or more here.

I've been to a lot of aerospace and automobile museums and even NASA but I think this one is the best in the world. Mind boggling number of flights and automobiles and the way the museum is set up, the interactive nature and dead cheap price makes it unmatched. As an aerospace engineering student and even for other members of my family this kind of museum experience is unmatched. Getting into the supersonic Air France flight was surreal. And they have every type of automobile you could imagine. And brilliantly maintained. Must visit place, be prepared to spend lots of time here. And it sits quietly in a small town unlike other popular museums of the world. This places deserves the attention of the world!

We unfortunately had only 6 hours to spend here. I might suggest an entire day or even two days. It's mind boggling the amount of work involved in creating this museum. There is something here for almost anyone, trains, planes, cars and war memoriablia. It could even be worth a trip to Germany to it. We will certainly be returning on our next visit to Germany.

When my German friend said we are visiting a technical museum today, I was not very sure about the big thing.I was totally unaware about the vast area, vast layout and the huge spread the museum is having.Just fantastic.A well spread, well laid thing. Everything under one roof and yes over the roof too. From cycle to bike to car to plane to tank and rail and everything.Hitlers car, raja of patiala car , the models, the Philips play stations, everything is amazing.Do keep sufficient time at hand while visiting.Huge area to explore. The food court is also attractive. The slide down is interesting. The robot stamping and handing you the coin momentous is too good.Well connected by road and by rail too.A offbeat destination.Do visit with kids.

This was my third time at the museum, but the first time with my children (ages 10 and 12). My children's favorite part was walking into the airplanes. Obviously, there is a wide variety of automobiles, plus some military vehicles and trains. It's best to visit the museum with someone who has the same interest level as you so it's not too boring for one person or too hurried for another. There are multiple choices for food/drinks. Parking was free.

Well this is the one I'd been wanting to visit for something like twenty years. What can you say - it's another collection of cars and planes and stuff. I paid to visit here with my Speyer entry which I think saved me a couple of euros. Two halls, at least 1000 exhibits, I took @ 800 photos so it's well up there in the value stakes. I wasn't sure what I'd be seeing for the most part but I guess i'm slightly disappointed that the bias is largely toward expensive sports cars and limousines. Overall it's well worth a visit if you have the time - my gallop around still took 7 hours.

Spent a whole afternoon here last Saturday with friends and it truly is a great museum, if you like the above things. The displays could do with a few more translations into English, but that is a minor quible. Great collection & very good value for money.

Something for young and old, plan at least 2 days or come back multiple times. There is an abundance of cars, trains, airplanes, machinery, boats, tanks, guns, historical dioramas, and, and, and. Many hands-on experiences for kids. And if you like it , drive about an hour east to Speyer, where the sister museum has more stuff.

Ok, so traveling with a auto fan husband and a fifteen year old daughter, I thought this might be just a day where we gritted our teeth for our beloved male. However, there was such a variety of displays that we all found something to interest us. All the kids there seemed to love the fact that you could descend from some of the air craft displays by large slides. Fifteen year old miss was quite taken with some of the fashion displays that were featured with different eras of cars and I was delighted by the large mechanical music displays. IMAX was in German but it did not matter. We chose an ocean animal film and the photography was amazing. Well worth a look. Train and military lovers will enjoy this too.

Very informative . Make sure you have several hours available to see it all! Movies are great, lots of was memorabilia, the best are the planes. Make sure you visit the sister museum as well, with a mock space shuttle!

This is one of the world's best aviation museums. The other one is in Speyer - a partner museum to Sinsheim.Everything is spectacular: the number of exhibitsthe ability to walk into many of the planesthe installations - very camera friendly and spectacular for the setpiece exhibitsthe children's adventure playgrounds It's worth doing a day trip to this small town in the middle of nowhere interesting purely to visit one of the world's most amazing museums - if you have any interest in technology and moving machinery of any kind...

There is so much to see in this museum that really you need to spend a whole day or maybe more. It is very impressive with everything from bicycle's to heavy artillery guns and has some working exhibits. Well worth a trip
