Distant, secluded and not that famous (which is great). The day I was there, there were big waves, and swimming and enjoying the waves was definitely a challenge (which I took, but wouldn't really recommend it - especially to those who can't swim well).You probably will not meat a lot of people there, so you would most likely be able to find a lonely spot and enjoy the scenery. I felt so humble there.

Can be reached only by stairs offering a beautiful view from like 100m above. It's very quiet and not many people know about it so you have the chance to be alone there !

A great undiscovered beach in the west of Lixouri. After descending the cliff, one finds himself/ herself almost alone to an amazing beach. The sea is great for swimming but quite deep, and there are no facilities at all to the beach. It would be a good idea to bring your own umbrella for some shadow, while extra care is required when descending the stairs - which is quite hard. For someone wanted to appreciate the wild landscape and the sea, this is the perfect place!

We walked down the hundreds of steps to the beach. It was very beautiful - we were there in May and there were big waves breaking on the beach, throwing spray high into the air, all very dramatic. It was clean and only one other couple were there, given how big this beach is there was plenty of space!We walked back up the steps and when we got nearly to the top there was a sign saying the beach was closed because of the danger of rock-falls. Sadly the sign is positioned so you won't see it on the way down!

This is a bit out of the way on the west side of the 'Lixouri' peninsula - and beware but there a lot of steps down to the beach. There are no amenities but it is so beautiful and unspoilt it is well worth a trip, especially if you have visited Xi beach - make your way back up the west side and visit the nearby Monastery too. Also beware that the road down to the car park (where the 400+ steps are, is gravel and is difficult so just take it slowly! As I said, it is well worth the effort - even just to get the views from the car park.

400 stairs to heaven. This beach just blows you away with its unmatched vibe. Beautiful pebbles being clashed by breathtaking waves and crystal clear blue water. It takes a good pair of legs though to climb back up those 400 stairs!

Huge beach, where you even can swim naked :) Ussually there is no more than 10-20 people and you can find a lot of space for your honeymoon time :)

Μια πανέμορφη παραλία φτιαγμένη από θεϊκό χέρι.Για όποιους μπορούν να κατέβουν και να ανέβουν φυσικά τα αρκετά σκαλοπάτια θα αποζημιωθουν από το υπέροχο αίσθημα που θα τους κυριεύσει.

Dall'alto bellissima , ma per raggiungerla è un serio problema , se poi ci sono bambini limitiamoci ad ammirarla dall'alto.

Spiaggia meravigliosa, visivamente superba. Unico neo come raggiungerla.Essendo la penisola di Lixouri la più selvaggia dell'intera isola, le strade sono contorte e poco segnalate. Le inversioni di marcia sono la regola. Arrivati finalmente a destinazione si intraprende la strada sterrata, come già a conoscenza tramite le precedenti recensioni.Peccato che sterrata sia riduttivo. La definirei indubbiamente ai limiti della percorribilità con una normale automobile. Siamo riusciti a tornare indietro per pura fortuna e sinceramente mi sento di consigliarla solo ai possessori di un 4x4. Peccato, probabilmente ciò è dovuto alla scarsa cura della strada a causa della nota frana che blocca la scalinata di accesso.Quindi sì, da raggiungere se muniti di fuoristrada o se FORTEMENTE motivati.

Εξωτικά χρώματα με περίσια αγριάδα. Δυστυχώς δεν κατεβήκαμε γιατί είναι κλειστή η πρόσβαση, λόγω κατολισθήσεων (Αύγουστος 2014).

Это самый красивый пляж Кефалонии, намного красивее Миртоса и Антисамоса, вид сверху прекрасен, вода ярко голубого цвета с приливами синего!!! Придётся проехать вниз метров 200 по гравийной дороге с большим количеством ям и камней, так что будьте осторожны. От парковки вниз ведёт каменная лестница ступенек на 300. Но, увы, последние ступени этим летом были уничтожены оползнем! Ступеньки внизу разрушены, спрыгнуть с них не получится, т.к. ниже оползневый уклон, лучше не рисковать. С детьми на лестницу вообще желательно не соваться. Добраться до пляжа в данный момент можно только на лодке или гидроцикле. Очень жаль, что так и не удалось на него попасть, пришлось смотреть сверху и завидовать паре с яхтой и гидроциклом

Non c'è niente da fare. Il modo migliore per girare questa splendida isola e' la barca. Ci siamo spostati a Lixouri quasi appositamente per godere di questa meraviglia lontano dal caos della musica delle taverne e però incredibilmente raggiungibile via terra, sia pur con fatica (ma siamo abituati). E invece siamo rimasti a bocca asciutta: l'ennesima frana ha distrutto la parte finale della scalinata. Con i miei bambini non è proprio possibile: forse con scarpe da trekking e leggeri si può provare ma mi sembra comunque una situazione pericolosa al momento. Speriamo che l'amministrazione si svegli e dia una sistemata: o almeno segnali il pericolo (non c'è alcun avvertimento in questo senso).

Una spiaggia da favola,peccato che nel periodo della mia visita era impossibile raggiungerla a causa del crollo della parte finale dei gradini (dovuti ai molteplici terremoti)Anche se la strada per raggiungerla non è il massimo,vale la pena arrivarci per ammirare dall'alto questo magnifico spettacolo e immortararla in diverse foto
