Interesting to look at, take a photo and move on. Not sure what else one would do at the clock, although it makes for good photos.

A beautiful landmark. Worth the trek up the hill. Allows for a beautiful view of the river and city below.

Standing tall on the Petrovaradin Fortress, it overlooks the city and the river below. When looking at the scenery, I get the feeling that it guards the time and reminds the city and the river that time never stands still.

This clock is the most known monument of Petrovaradin: you can see it from afar since its colours are outstanding (of course, it was the fishermens' clock!). The landscape it's beautiful, Novi Sad it's at your feet and the Danube tells a story about different peoples, wars and heroes.

when you are at the fortress, this is one of the must sees, a symbol of Novi Sad, described in books as a romantic place, with the inverted hands on the clock. gives you an amazing view of the city, and good oportunity to take some great pics.

This clock has such historical significance and is a visual standout in Novi Sad. Sadly, up close and personal, it is in a state of disrepair. With all of the other construction going on throughout Novi Sad, the powers that be should spend $ on a few gallons of paint to preserve this feature of their heritage! The same applies to the Fortress area.

The "reversed clock" is the ultimate landmark of Petrovaradin fortress. The minute and hour hand on the clock tower are reversed, with the small hand showing minutes, and the big hand showing hours. It was created as such so that fishermen on the Danube river can see the time from a long distance. The building is nicely restored, and in the souvenir shop next to it one can buy T-shirts with it.

...a lancette invertite come già ampiamente spiegato.
