If you´re planning to spend a really quiet holiday in a place where there are not lots of tourists and you love Turkey – we can recommend you to spend it in Anamur, the southernmost point of the country and home of bananas. The city is about 60 kms from Alanya on the way to Mercin, approximately on the halfway between airports of Antalya and Adana. Of course – it isn´t a short way from the airport to Anamur (about 6-8 hours) but you´ll find there everything you need for really placid time to relax. Comfortable hotels and pensions, good and not expensive restaurants, extremely friendly Turkish people, clear sea and wonderful beach just unlike the tourist centres which you can see everywhere – with lots of sunbeds and umbellas and people as much as pismires. And when you´ll be full of swimming and laying on the beach, you can visit historical places as the ancient Anemurium or the crusarder Mamure Castle.We recommend to come to Anamur at least for a week but it´s worth staying there two weeks and more – to have a real relax. It´s the best place for those who are not looking for disco and such things, and who like walking and love nature. Don´t forget to take good shoes! And if you rent a car in Anamur, you can see much more from the surroundings.

Anamur heeft een mooi oud kasteel aan het strand, momenteel in restauratie en normaal kan je de binnenkant niet bezoeken (dit voor de zomer van 2014). Maar als je de moeite doet om rond het kasteel te wandelen en de weg te vragen aan de lokale bevolking kan je heel wat zien. De tweede trekpleister Anamurium is zeker de moeite waard, ligt aan de andere zijde van de stad, ook aan de kust, zeer prachtige site met heel veel restanten en mozaiëken uit vervlogen tijd.

Уверена, что это прекрасный музей. Но в настоящее время он закрыт на реставрацию. Точно не поняла когда он будет доступен для посещения.

Se di passaggio da Anamur avete tempo, potete visitare anche questo piccolo museo. Niente di speciale: ci sono alucuni reperti della antica Anemurium a altri siti dell’area. Unici reperti di qualche interesse dei mosaici e una testa bronzea di Atena.

Dit museum ligt in Anamur (Iskele). Je treft er vooral de opgravingen aan van Anamur en omgeving. Het museum is redelijk uitgebreid en geeft ook de historie weer van Anamur.
