I loved the little town of Volosko, an easy walk from Opatija along the lingo mare. Be sure to stop at one of the harborside restaurants for a drink or a meal - very picturesque.

The walk from the Hotel Kapetanovic ,is downhill and a significant struggle uphill but the Hotel provides a shuttle from 9am-7pm.The views are awesome and the town has many little restaurants around the marina. Beautiful walk along the shore line to Opatija

Mainly used this village for the good restaurants and atmosphere of sitting outdoors away from the noise of the big towns.

Super spot with great restaurants. Not expensive and standards are very high. It's very clean, a working port so the seafood could not be fresher. Indulge yourself and take the water taxi back to Opatija; a perfect end to a day

We walked from Opatija regularly to Volosko and it is an easy walk not to far along the coastline and when you reach Volosko it is a lovely harbour with bars where you can sit and enjoy a drink or we had ice creams with hot berries. The locals and staff in the bars cound not be more friendly

Small roads with tiny houses. Volosko is sweet and charming, with nice restaurants and a little harbour. An added value when being on holidays in Opatija. There is a promenade directly at the shoreside that connects Volosko with Opatija. Difficult parking.

Based on TA reviews, I was expecting a Croatian Cinque Terre. It is essentially a fishing pier surrounded by a handful of restaurants. I will say that it is a lovely walk along the Lungo Mare to this vilage

Volosko is a beautiful area with plenty of great food right on the harbor. Stemming from the harbor is an extensive promenade that lines the coast, right outside several mansions. There are plenty of concrete beaches and a few rock beaches to visit if you are looking to swim.

it is a very nice atmosphere in Volosko, you always find something to do there.. there are also some very good restaurants and bars where you can eat or drink, so it is worth it going there ;)

Walked to volosko from opatija, walking by the sea the whole time was lovely, great views throughout the walk. We stopped in a cafe which was nice to cool off before heading back. Beware though you are in the sun the whole time there is no shade on the walk so in the height of summer take sun cream and lots nof water!

Charming small fishermen's village part just next to Abbazia. There are great dining facilities next to the marina. For sport fans I highly recommend the typical Adriatic waterpolo pool, which is implemented to the marina & sea. We have tried it with locals - Excellent feeling to play in the sea under the sun.

Charming village Volosko is situated just a couple of kilometers away from Opatija, between Opatija and Rijeka. Worth of visit.

quiet, scenic small village with free Wifi! and a smattering of small bars and restaurants. Take in a soccer game on TV - oceanside!

Small fishing town. Really nice walk from Opatija - all the time you walk by the coast. In Volosko, there are a lot of great restaurants and cafes where you can stop and relax.

Volosko is a small township 2km walk from Opatija along the picturesque Franz Joseph coastal foot path. While Opatija reflects the "belle epoque" of its development as a late 19th resort, Volosko has the character of an older fishing village. Nice restaurants around the harbour, particularly the Plavi Podrum
