I loved my visit here! The owner is a wonderful man. Very friendly and personable. The wine is fabulous! I brought four bottles and only two actually made the trip back to the U.S. This is a must visit while in Melnik.

Very nice place, certainly worth visiting. The house is unusually large for the time it was built and the winery is in an actual cave!

It is a very interesting museum in the town of Melnik. The wine they offer is amazing. You can choose from a great variety of wine which you try beforehand. The view is amazing as well.

The smallest town in Bulgaria, Melnik is paradise for those who love peace, nature and ... good wine. With very rich history the town is an attractive place for tourists. Several destinations are of real interest and they must be seen - the Rozhen Monastery, the Rupite, the Kordopulov's House. In the house you will feel the past of this lovely place. That is the house of the richest family of that time. They used to be wine producers and the visitors can see not only the lovely house but the cellary, where they used to produce and store the wine. Nice atmosphere with friendly young people and best wine ever... You won't regret!

This is a wonderful museum in Melnik with spectacular stained glass windows and a view into the upperclass life of a family. It is 260 years old, and has terraces and a basement that goes floors and floors underground into the mountain. It is worth the 3 lv. entry.

I went with my family in this medieval house that is more than 150 years. Restored and well maintained, beautiful, all in colorful carpets and beautiful stained glass. In the basement there are huge vats where the wine is stored / in this region is characterized by the production of wine - variety is early Melnik vine /. Recommend try, you will not regret it.

The house is quite nice, but the views from the place nearby it are stunning. Nearby it there is an izba (winery) with a superb local red wine and good cheese.

Consiglio la visita alla casa e alle cantine. Vale assolutamente la pena. La storia di questa famiglia greca che produceva il vino proprio in queste zone e lo commericava con i veneziani...affascinante

Один из старейших и богатейших домов одной из старейших семьей Болгарии. Дом неплохо сохранен и хорошо поддерживается. В отличии от многих болгарских домов - "многоэтажный" и вполне фундаментальный. Сегодня там музей. Сохранены и восстановлены интерьеры. Аутентичная болгарская обстановка. На 1 этаже свои винодельни (и подвалы). По окончании экскурсии (мы посещали самостоятельно без гида) - угощение посетителей домашним вином. Чтобы попасть в дом надо подняться в гору - открываются потрясающие виды!

Путешествуя по Болгарии мы видели много домов-музеев, но этот, поистине впечатляет! Говорят, что он самый большой из подобных! В нём аж 4 этажа и огромный подвал-туннель для хранения вина. Его протяжённость 150 метров! На верхнем этаже сохранились старинные витражи и убранство, характерное для зажиточного дома. В подвальной части устроен дегустационный зал, где можно попробовать и купить вино и ракию, а также осмотреть знаменитый подвал. где хранится это вино. Вино нам понравилось, правда, для болгарских цен немного дороговато...

Bisogna stare attenti quando la si cerca, perché è un po' coperta da una mehana (trattoria) e la freccia segnaletica più vicina è disegnata a mano e un po' malmessa, ma, usciti dalla Melnik più turistica e vinaiola, vale proprio la pena di visitarla. Di case-museo in Bulgaria c'è abbondanza, ma questa dimora su più piani arrampicata su una collinetta, già di proprietà di un ricco mercante di vini (e ti pareva... qui non si parla d'altro!) è, per ora, la più bella di quelle che ho visitato. Bella dal punto di vista architettonico e negli interni, sia per l'arredo che per le decorazioni. Notevole anche il giro della cantina, con degustazione (buona soprattutto per chi ama il vino giovane) di due qualità di rosso: secca e semi-dolce.

La maison vaut le coût d'être visitée. C'est joli et la vue est super. Par contre la cave c'est autre chose. Le monsieur qui faisait la dégustation ne connaissait rien en vin et a été limite désagréable. On a eu droit a la dégustation d'un seul vin qui a été infecte. S'ils veulent vendre de vin ils doivent faire un grand effort.

Da non perdere se si arriva nel piccolo villaggio di Melnik a pochi km. dal confine greco, casa museo di un ricco mercante di vini, belle vetrate colorate, soffitti in legno, divani coperti di velluti e tappeti e per finire una cantina labirinto di mt. 160 scavati nella roccia, abbiamo attaccato anche noi la monetina nella roccia.

Мельник - уникальнейшее местечко. Погреба, как подземный город, сам и не выйдешь.Здесь выращивают самую древнюю виноградную лозу - широкая мелникская лоза.Вино из этого сорта винограда получается кисловатое, поэтому оновсегда идет в сочетании с другими сортами винограда. В жилом доме известного во всей Европе виноторговца Манолиса Кордопулоса сохранился большой винный погреб. Здесь располагается небольшой музей, посвященный быту богатых купцов.
