liked this one, isn't further from the restaurants and main street and it's also a pretty beach. The sea is pretty, green!

This is a good spot for surfing, but if you just want to enjoy the beach, see people and have a bite to eat I recommend Praia do Tiririca, which is just next to Praia do Rezende.

Among all the beaches in Itacare this was the favourite. Its based between two cliff sides, not very long and not so many people as the sorrounding beaches. To surf here, you should know what you do, but no stress with a dip in the pounding waves for non surfers. Be vary about the currents though, they can be strong. Not so many vendors, but enough to satisfy both thirst and hunger without it beeing to many. We had no stress leaving valuables while swimming.Total chill...

Seriously I went back to Rio and got depressed by the beaches here. Rio is great, but the beaches in Itacare are just breathtaking...all of them, Rezende is no different. It is just next to Tiririca and is a totally different vibe. It is quiet and has just a few vendors compared to the beach bars and restaurants at tiririca. It is nice, but be careful of the current there. It is strong and the swimming area is a bit narrow as a result. Take the trail from tiririca to this beach for an amazing little hike overlooking the ocean. I love Itacare.

Along with a couple of deserted beaches on Ilha Grande (RdJ) our favourite beach in Brazil! Funnily enough a lot of the Brazilians and locals we met don't like it - because its not crowded with restaurants, bars, music, table and chairs etc haha. If like us you appreciate white sand, blue clear water, waves and palm trees and only a couple of coconut sellers this is the beach for you. Also recommend Itacarezinho out of town

This is a paradise-like beach, blue water with waving palm trees.. excellent! Take care because there are some nasty rocks on the sides and there can be a strong current. Usually there is a guard around that calls you back if you go too far into the water.
