We went with our guide to the indigineous people village on horses. Trip was fantastic. The guide is really helpful, friendly,speaks english very well. If you want to see world from several hundreds years ago I strongly recommend this trip. Take sun block, boots and you can go. Buy some food and candies for kids. This was my second time on a horse and I'm over 50. Was really easy with this guide. You can meet real people from the mountains. Very good price to quality ratio. This was the best day I've had in Palomino (stayed there 7 days). Strongly recommended.

A friend and me booked a 3-days-tour to Punta Gallinas with Ecoandes in Palomino. It turned out to be a total disaster. Unreliable transport (we had to wait for ours and hours to be picked up), guides that did not turn up or simply disappeared, a van that got stuck in the middle of the desert ... a terrible experience. It was such a shame, because the Guajira desert and Punta Gallinas are really spectacularly beautiful. But Ecoandes I would strongly advise to book this trip to Punta Gallinas with another, more reliable agency. Andres, the guy who runs the agency in Paolomino, is highly unreliable and told us a lot of lies. Not to be recommended at all.

I did the three day trip through la Guajira. Overall, I was satisfied, but some negative points remain, resulting in only three out of 5 points. Main point of criticism is the high cost of the tour and the lack of value for it. We slept in hamocks and very basic accomodations, were served the same food on three consecutive occasions (which was different from when a friend of mine did the tour) and were more driven to the (very nice) sights rather than guided there. All this for 400,000 COP, including water, but excluding stuff like Cola, etc. I would recommend this tour, but try to bargain a little with the price.

Excelente servicio y muy buena música, lo recomiendo adicional a esto la vista y diversidad lo hacen muy bueno, en verdad.

Imponente paisaje y cultura, y el río es de lujo, lo único que puede complicar un poco es el calor del mediodía que a la sombrita junto al río es super llevadera
