This church was the first place we visited during our excursion of Punta del Este. Located near the Port, we entered it, said our prayers, and took pictures. Near by are a museum and the Lighthouse - both seemed to be not accessible to the public or tourists like us. The little church is modern and is currently used for masses. I don't think it has any historical significance since our Guide did not mention anything about it.Tip: One can walk to this church from the Port. Note however, that it is an uphill walk. Happy walking!

Well, if you're walking around the port area, you can reach to this lovely small church and see a colonial building.. But if you enjoy traveling and want to participate in a celebration, on sundays, you can reach there and enjoy all the warm spirit from Uruguayans :)

Quite small in the first sign but when you get close go inside you realise it is big. Simple but have a charm. During the summer they have service till 2 o'clock in the morning. Worth walk till there.

This beautiful Church perched on top of the peninsulas hillside dominates this lovely area. It is surrounded by the Water tower and other special buildings along with a tranquil park. The interior reflects a calming statement and is truly a place of GOD.

This little church near the point on Punta del Este presents a lovely structure. The striking sky blue color of the façade certainly makes it stand out. While the exterior portrays a picturesque sight, the interior, while simple, is also quite nice. The front mural with kneeling angels is quite a moving scene. There are also twelve wood block prints hung around the side walls that progressively depict the suffering of the Christ. These meaningful works are done very well and there is also some other interesting art placed throughout the church as well. Overall, if you are in Punta del Este, this is worth making the effort to visit. It will not take much time and it will be a memorable venture.

This church is located on one of the most beautiful places in Punta del Este; the lighthouse. Sunday mass at noon is a great experience and during the summer when the windows are open you can even feel the sea breeze during the ceremony.

In front of the faro this cozy little Iglesia remind you an old Portugal church minus the beggars.If you're Christian it is beautiful to say a prayer.It is a magical place indeed.

Lugar lindo, sempre aberta para orações. Horários regulares de missa. Em volta havia alguns mendigos porem nada demais, não mexeram com agente. Recomendo o passeio.

A igreja é uma fofurinha! Está na parte mais antiga da cidade, mas parece muito bem revitalizada. É super pequena, mas adorável!

bien cuidada, no muy grande, en una zona muy linda y antigua de Punta del Este.Muy cerca del Faro y del puerto, no llegue a conocer la misa, pero la iglesia es muy bonita

Paseando por la costanera se observa el faro que se encuentra en la puntilla, junto a el se ubica esta bonita iglesia de color celeste, es de fácil acceso, debe ser visitada durante la estadía en Punta del Este.

Fica no centro de Punta na praia dos Ingleses, fica perto do farol de Punta que é outra atração imperdível. Esta simpática igreja azul e branca foi construída em 1911, reformada e ampliada em anos posteriores, está em ótimo estado de preservação, tanto externamente como internamente. Tem um painel onde está escrita a oração do Pai Nosso em 30 idiomas diferentes.

Una parroquia bonita y bien cuidada, nada muy sobresaliente, aunque está bien. Está cerca de una plaza y del faro, por lo que puede ser una parada más al recorrer la península de punta del este.

É uma igrejinha simples e bonita, em meio aos casarões de Punta. Pertinho do farol de Punta, tem aquela carinha de igreja de interior. Não estava aberta quando passei por lá. É um daqueles pontos despretensiosos pra se descobrir durante uma caminhada pela península...

Pequena igreja que fica bem na frente do farol de Punta del Este. Chegamos até ela porque estávamos a procura do farol. Ela é pequena, porém toda arrumada e bem cuidada. Vale a visita!
