We run a wine review website and so tasted a lot of wines in WA during our 2 week stay. We found WCH to be outstanding in quality yet surprisingly well-priced. The lunch platter of local produce was small but superb.

We came across West Cape Howe Wines as we drove from Perth to Denmark. It was the ideal lunch-stop, and was one of the few places open between Boxing Day and New Year. The white wines were superb and we settled for a glass of their Sauvignon Blanc to go with the homemade pate ($10) and the locally made Turkish bread with olive oil and dukkha ($10). The food was magnificent, the wines superb and the staff incredibly friendly. The location is beautiful, the dining area relaxed and comfortable. If you're just in need of a coffee stop, then this is the perfect place. The coffee is roasted locally as well and was one of the best we've had in W.A. If you're driving past, stop! You'll be glad you did.
