scrap iron sculptures

On a loop off the main street of Hyden (Marshall Street) are a collection of scrap iron sculptures , made from the type of scrap found on old farms or around early town sites. There are about twenty pieces some large like the representation of a school bus, some small like the bungarra under the bush shelter, but my pick was the horse and wagon with a dog chained under the back.I won't post any photos, partly because at midday, the shadows were not ideal for capturing the essence of the sculptures, and partly because I think that you should see them for yourself.It is only four hours by car from Perth and is on the way to Wave Rock so between the two attractions, well worth the effort.
