Great that you get to taste the honey and what we bought tastes lovely. Informative for kids too as they have a working beehive on display.

Small shop / cafe selling fresh and local honey. The large range prompts the "very good" rating. All the honey can be tasted and there are descriptions going through their unique characteristics and benefits. Cafe provides teas, coffees etc - and honey ice cream! Not cheap but surprisingly yummy. The young lady in the shop was polite and patient and answered our questions, but wasn't very enthusiastic. Probably 'cause we came in just before closing time!Worth a visit if you're in the area and love honey.

Located on Gingin Brook Road around 10 minutes from Gingin West Coast Honey has lots of different types of honey to buy. There are free tastings of honey and honeycomb. A live bee display. Best of all - Honey Icecream!!!

This place is the best place to learn about the honey. The care taker-owner (young lady) was very patient and explained all about honey bees and patiently answered all my questions. They also have coffee, tea and other things to quench our thirst and hunger. The tea with honey was of very good quality. Will go there again, once my honey stock is depleted.

My 2 granddaughters (aged 12) and I visited West Coast Honey and although I was or so I thought pretty well versed in what this attraction offered I was delightfully surprised with the knowledge of the staff. Yolande was effervescent in her presentation, as one of the youngest members of this long standing awarding winning family, her knowledge of the bees and their production was remarkable. Tasting the honey and taking delicious whipped creamed honey home and spread on hot crumpets is sure to mean I'll be returning soon for more.

Very interesting display.. the young lass working was very knowledgeable on all things bees/honey! The Paulownia honey is amazing (jars were bought!) and we had hands down the best devonshire tea ever - the scones were amazing!

We made a booking to bring a group of chn and mums as we were staying in Gin Gin. Staff very accomodating and chn enjoyed learning about bees. they loved taste testing all the different honey. We had arranged for the kids to do candle making which they enjoyed and they all brought their candle home. We loved the homemade honey icecream - worth the visit!

We stopped over here for a short break and it was worthwhile litte stop, out kids enjoyed playing jigsaws and drawing on the kids table and playing with a giant Winne the Pooh bear as well as looking at the live bees in the indoor bee hive exhibit. I enjoyed the Honey Ice-Cream but wasn't blown away by it. There was some interesting bee related merchandise for sale and you could also get a drink.

Good range of honeys and honey products like honeycomb. Display of bees in the hive was smaller than I'd anticipated.
