I have fond memories of this park as my partner proposed to me many years ago there so to revisit recently was wonderful.I love to just wander and take it all in then sit and people watch.A must to visit if you are in Bendigo.

Happen to be in Bendigo whist the Scottish Band competition was in full swing. Amazing talent all day. The park is a delight to stroll through or picnic at. Very cool and calming enviroment on a hot and at times occasional stressful day.

A great place to spend a couple of hours enjoying the peace and quiet to read a book or for an early morning walk or jog.Climb the watch tower for a great view.We were there on new years eve and enjoyed a very good Fireworks Display.

This haven in the heart of the city offers so much - leafy avenues, green lawns, tall trees (several many years old), a 'poppet head' tower to climb and take in the panorama, and 'cascades' from the gold-mining era, buried for years under mulch from autumn leaves, but re-discovered a few years back and restored to their former glory, The adjoining State primary school wonderfully equipped playground is available for use on non-school days, including weekends. Boasting a sound-shell and rotunda, the park is used as a venue for a wonderful variety of events The Conservatory houses plant displays in season, but in the 'off season' it offers such things as craft displays, school holiday actuvutues etc. Something for everyone!

On a warm summers day in Bendigo, there's NO better place to escape the heat of the day than in leafy Rosalind Park, right in the heart of the City.Just take a seat and watch the world go by or stroll around the winding pathways or take a break at one of the many eateries in either View Street or Pall Mall which surround this oasis in the City. There's also a conservatory or giant glass nearby which is a spectacular indoor display well worth a look.

On a hot summers day, this park is just the best place to take a rest under the massive old oaks, planted long ago to provide coolness in huge areas of shade, right in the heart of Bendigo's CBD.

a brisk walk around the park and climb to the top of the observation tower for a lovely view of the city

We found ourselves at a gateway into Rosalind Park after having lunch at the Shamrock Hotel across the road. What a lovely, inviting Victorian-era park. My initial visit was brief; I plan to return.

This park has it all; open lawns, historic sculptures, high lookouts, rotundas, playgrounds, conservatory, palms, plants and bats. A cooling place to walk through or a wonderful oasis to while away many hours. A true gem in the heart of Bendigo, a testament to great planning and foresight by our forefathers

Century-old trees, roses, hydrangeas, lawns, creek, alongside the main road though Bendigo and adjoining the art gallery and cultural district.

This park is quite large in size considering it is located so close to the centre of the city. It looks at it's best in Autumn when the leaves are changing colour. For those less active the main area is flat and has sealed paths............however........to get the full experince from this park you need to climb a steep little hill (or park in the top carpark) then climb the poppethead lookout which gives a great view and prospective of this city and the grand buildings which she has.

Hadn't been to the park for a while as I no longer work in town. As part of the venue for the fun run I had the opportunity not only to notice all the work the council has put into managing the trees and gardens but was amazed by how peaceful the shady areas were and how gorgeous the entire park was. As I usually visit gardens when I travel, I was impressed as this local gem would hold its one with interstate and international gardens. A great place to enjoy gourmet offerings from the nearby shops or just a packed lunch or a coffee.

Nice gardens to walk around and enjoy the plants and all the greenery. Right in the centre of the city so easy to get to.

Definitely worth a long walk through, this park is lovely spot for a walk or just sitting watching world go by. Seemed to have constant stream of people, appears to be used by locals as much as tourists. Lots of points of interest in park, and plenty of lovely shady spots to sit. We loved the conservatory down between the visitor centre and dragon museum, and the poppet head at the top near art gallery.
