It was a beautiful setting. Penny is an amazing cook! You have to make sure that you organise to have her cook you a meal! It was heavenly. We had a two course meal that was out of this world! I vote chefs hat worthy! Everything I thought it would be was exact. Even the cute two dogs that would pop over and say hi. It had everything you could want in a place to stay. A cute modern country get away. Loved it!

My wife and I stayed here a year ago. I've been meaning to write a review, and after cracking open the bottle of Hart's Farm olive oil, I was inspired to do so. This place is so wonderful and restful. The grounds lend themselves to a romantic walk through the olives complete with some superb local wine - ducks and horsed run about the place. Penny, the owner, made a wonderful gourmet meal for us, complete again with the exquisite local wine. It was simply a wonderful, decadently comfortable place to stay. I echo other reviewer's comments on the exceptional high standard of furnishing and design. I'm a designer and very much appreciated the care and craftsmanship exercised in the design and construction of this place. Hart's Farm is an experience you won't soon forget.

We stayed here for one night and it was the highlight of our trip. The room was stunning. Linen sheets, quality glassware, beautiful big double bath and complete privacy. A gorgeous view overlooking the dam and with ducks, chickens and dogs around it's still very rustic but in a luxurious way! We opted to stay in and Penny made us a lovely dinner and dessert. I did feel she was a little on edge about how we were treating all the beautiful furnishings in the room (we treated them with utmost respect) so maybe she can relax a little on that front, or don't choose such high quality things for guest's use. We loved the linen sheets and fine water glasses but we certainly didn't need them to be so special, and would have had an excellent stay anyway. But this is a really relaxing, lovely place to stay and the olive oil is delicious!

Stayed here on our wedding night and wished we could have skipped the family BBQ the next day and stayed on for another night or two. The room is furnished to an exceptionally high standard, with a bed you could sleep in for days, and a bathroom you could live in. The larder stocked with high quality local and home made produce was fantastic for preparing our own breakfast, and the views across the Olive Grove and hills very pleasant. Perfect base for exploring the Mornington Peninsula, hiding away during a cold winter weekend or, or for a wedding night.

We stayed at Hart's Farm last weekend, and felt we had to share our really rather perfect experience. The farm itself is beautiful - olive grove, fruit trees, friendly horses, views of gum trees and cows etc. The kind of place where you immediately relax - not only because of the outdoor surounds, but because the accommodation is also so perfect, and the hosts so warm and welcoming. Incredibly comfortable bed with beautiful linen; free standing bath; the day bed with beautiful cushions (and plenty of magazines provided) is to die for and the whole aesthetic is just so perfectly stylish and relaxed.Penny is clearly an amazing cook, and we had the most delicious (pre-arranged for an additional cost) antipasto platter for dinner - prepared with a range of amazing produce straight from the garden or locally sourced. We were only just recovering from dinner when we launched into breakfast the following morning (which is included). I can't tell you how beautiful it was - a perfect avocado with local goats cheese on toast, muesli, poached figs with incredible local yogurt, orange juice, freshly ground coffee - aaaah!!!!Suffice to say, we can't recommend Hart's Farm more highly, and hope to be back for longer next time!
