Right by the visitor centre (incidentally well worth a visit especially their Phoenix museum for which you pay $5 per adult children are free. Great video about the town and people etc re Black Saturday and excellent informative photos). It's a well thought out playground next to the lovely river. A dual flying fox was a real hit! Braille used on signs. Our kids loved walking down the river bed. Great place to relax. Shade too.

Upon arriving in Marysville myself and my traveling companions felt an immediate peace and serenity. This town had gone through much devastation and has been rebuilding their lives. Walking through the park area was very calming. I commend the people of the town for picking up their lives and creating a new town. Its lovely.

This park kind of encompasses the information centre, river, riverside trail, lake and little kids playground. It's a beautiful area and lots of cute details around the kids area.

Lovely park and great walks, right in the centre of Marysville. Plenty of areas for kids to play safely and walk along the banks of the river.

A lovely place for a visitor to wander and just sit. Beautifully maintained and in the heart of this village. A credit, the Anzac service here would be something I would love to come back for

We were amazed at this wonderful park and it's equipment - wished we had the grandkids with us! So refreshing to see the community coming alive again - the trees is the Main Street looking beautiful and the flowers blooming.Wished we were staying longer to enjoy some of the walks.

I can't believe we spent 4 hours at this park! One of the best parks I have been to in Victoria. Great playground equipment, in good condition, sand pit, rope pyramid, water play, swings. After the kids have had enough, take them for a walk around the lake or for a go on the flying fox. Warning though, the kids won't want to leave. That was our experience.

Don't be deceived by the casual appearance of the Park Entrance ... one can explore several interesting areas of interest for the kids. Well Planned.The Hand Print Wall ... an interesting reminder of the Marysville Fire Disaster of 2009. Wish we had given ourselves more time to enjoy the Park rather than the late evening visit we made.

Since the fires ravaged the lovely town of Marysville, Gallipoli Park has been one fo the first places to be rebuilt and very well done.The park and surrounding facilities are a testament to the determined attitude of the locals to rebuild in a lovely place. Worth the visit and suggest taking picnic lunch along to avoid the high prices charged at the main local cafe.

This park is a great place to visit. It has an interactive alphabet play area done in braile. Lots of walking tracks, various different plants and the Steavenson river going through the middle. It is a highlight of Marysville. Go for a look and stay awhile.
