hepburn lagoon - trail rides

I really cannot believe this place is in business . I was actually looking forward to going horse riding for the first time. Excitement quickly turned to dread about 5 minutes into the ride itself. My stirrups were not checked and they were way too low so I was having immense difficulty in lifting myself off the saddle. The owner of the place kept on shouting at me and comparing me to the other riders using belittling language . I was told my legs were "Flabby from lack of exercise" . It just got worse from there .....when the problem was finally discovered and my stirrups were adjusted I was in tears and no apology from the person in question. In fact it was the opposite just more cruel comments. I am still upset over what happened to me months later and if this review helps someone avoid a situation like this then all the better .

Very disappointed, we made booking and were not made aware of any cancelation fee's at the time by Jill. Cancelled due to personal reasons. The owners did not hesitate to deducted the full amount from our credit card after trying to explain to them reasons why my wife and 2 kids could not make it anymore. We are trying to find out from the bank if we can get our money back. Cancelled after only 12 hours of booking.

I called thew owner requesting a 2 hour trail ride for my wife for her birthday, he was helpful and we chose a certain ride, i requested a gift voucher as shown on the website but they did not have credit card facilities so i asked them to email me the voucher stating (to be paid for on the day as agreed). I explained the need to have the voucher as it was my wifes birthday the following day, he assured me it was all good.He advised me the emailed voucher would be done by the afternnon, i then called him after tea as a follow up as i did not get it, he then said his wife was rather f-bomb hopeless and would have it by email by the end of the night.Guess what ! No voucher, i called him back again in the morning and got a heap of f-bombs about the complete uselessness and unhelpfulness of his wife, he then said its not "gunna" happen and casually hung up on me, to say the least it was the worst customer service i have ever seen and my wife has no birthday present, thanks for that ! so now off i go to find a new horse ride, not happy !!
