Anglesea Life Saving Club deck is a great place for a "Beer O'Clock" snack and pot of ale whilst watching the sets roll in. Superb views, relaxed atmosphere in the club house lounge or on the deck in the sun on a nice day. Worth a look.

We arrived here for dessert but was told no dessert menu. However, we were not turned a way and were offered a brownie with icecream and strawberries or a couple of other options as well. It was food they would serve as a morning or afternoon tea. Brilliant !!! I love the dessert which was served well. The views are great of the beach below and with both indoor and outdoor seating you cant go wrong.

I only rated this as average because of the food. However first I must say the view is absolutely fantastic and one could sit on the deck or inside looking at it for hours. The staff, mainly girls were friendly, efficient and happy in thier job which is always good for the customer. This is a noisy busy place that whilst layback is a gold mine in the making.Organising the tables a little better and improving the food would see this place packed every night.I had the calamari that was obviously out of a packet and a bit chewy, and for a restaurant on the water this surprised me. I will say the waitress came back and advised me it was an entrée and they would include a salad and chips. Well done.My wife had pulled pork tacos and whilst tasty were a bit of a mess.Others had the fish and chips and I would think they needed to change thier deep frying oil.Prices were reasonable and the beer and wine cold.We will go back and see how it's developing again.
