little house of gems

We had a great day on a tagalong fossicking trip, Michael was a great guide, He really knew what he was talking about, not only did you dig up the gems he taught you a little about where how & why to dig in the spots we went to, what to look for. We did it as a couple but this would be a good family day out or a group of friends, Lunch & Morning Tea were supplied. We found 7 or 8 sapphires 2 of which were suitable for cutting & had them made into a ring back at the shop. There are a variety of options on fossicking, supplies or jewellery to buy if you don't like the thought of digging.It does get a little dusty but was great fun, we learnt a lot & will definitely be back one day for another go at it
