The gallery is wonderful. Presently showing Waste to Art which is really, really worth a visit. Unfortunately, our last visit we had a two hour wait for our lunch. Yes, we did have rather a large group, but two hours wait for lunch for children, older folk and a baby was just too, too long

We visited the art display at one end of the building which was an exhibition of recycled artwork from all ages and it was fantastic. In the middle of the building was a very busy, very noisy cafe, we had planned to have lunch here but it was way too loud and echoey so we just went to the other end where the museum display was and had a look. It was interesting but a little dark to see everything well.

We arrived out to see the exhibition the Restaurant appeared to be really busy. After the exhibition fingers crossed we headed out for lunch found a seat for 5 and we were not disappointed highly recommend the fish and salad and the chips are excellent I think they are home made, Coffee was spot on so we all left feeling great the exhibition had been amazing and the meal was to die for congratulations and well done we will be back

Too much modern stuff, but loved the old artifacts, it was great to visit because of the air con and facilities were great

We recently stayed at the Savannah cabins at the Western Plains Zoo. They are really nice. We had four adults and one 3 year old. Great value. We got a deal which gave us 2 nights, 2 days entry to the Zoo, free bike hire, one breakfast hamper and one dinner hamper. The cabins are great. It is so peaceful and tranquil. Would definitely go again.

I love visiting the Gallery. There is always a diverse range of exhibitions on display and I always find everyone there so nice!

The kids enjoyed the exhibit showcasing the history of Dubbo. There are also different art and cultural exhibits that change throughout the year. Well worth a visit.

THe museum was well laid out and very informative of the area. The Art exhibit was just being hung so we were only able to see one side but well worth it and the local Buddhists had a show of their artifacts and sales of goods which also was very interesting. We enjoyed morning tea there before hitting the road to go home. A very nice way to get ones headspace in various directions and fed a variety of discussions on the long drive home.Much better than loading up and heading out with a hurry up kind of experience as you rive home.

We visited the Cultural Centre just because we were looking for some place to get lunch. The museum is very resourceful and it is fantastic to learn about Dubbo's history. The Art Centre is also very interesting (even though I don't understand art enough). Planning to spend only half an hour, but ended up staying there for a good 90 minutes

Great place to have brunch with a good menue and good service. The displays are always changing and well worth a visit.

Dubbo's gem! Dubbo is known for it's zoo but Western Plains Cultural Centre you must see as well during your visit. Eclectic style - modern extension to an old, historic building. Interesting exhibitions changing frequently, little bit of Dubbo history and excellent, contemporary coffee shop. I was nicely surprised to find out that Dubbo has such a stylish gallery!

We saw the Anne Frank exibition and found it to be very interesting and informative. I like that this was free with donation if you wanted. The local history stuff was really good as well and also the local artist exibitions were amazing.

Is not speak highly enough of this delightful Cultural Centre. The exhibits are ever changing, but always of an extremely high standard. The cafe provides visitors and locals alike with well presented, delicious food and drinks with indoor and outdoor seating.
