Pleasent trip up the Clyde and back i learnt lots about oyster farming and the history of the area. Yummy fish and chips on board for lunch. We stopped in Nelligan which is a tiny town. Would recommend not bringing a pram even though it was suggested when we booked as you are limited if you want to move about the boat and on unfortunately for us some tourist took our reserved spot on the way back which had the safest place for our pram to be. But it was really enjoyable approx 3hrs return.

The cruise on the Clyde provides a very interesting insight to the history and the oyster farms on the river. The cruise included a very tasty lunch and during the trip and stopped in Nelligan for about 30 minutes. To allow us to stretch our legs and take in the local scenery. The commentary from the skipper was very insightful, talking about the history, the people who lived in very old houses, which many have been renovated. There are many oyster leases along the river. This is where many of the Sydney Rock oysters are grown.I would thoroughly recommend this activity, which I didn't think was over-priced.

A beautiful river to explore up to interesting Nelligan. They serve fish and chips on the boat and there is a bar. It was rather expensive for such a trip so for a family you would really feel ouch. Efficient crew and attention to safety. It is reaaly for the view and a few hours chill out.
