I have enjoyed this area for many years. Having camped there with my children for 17 years. We have done most of the amazing walks, swam at all the places and there are many - snorkelled, and bike rides on the tracks are great for kids and adults. BBQ areas for picnics and I took my grandkids there for our family get together there first visit - they loved it - so safe for swimming for the kiddies.

We absolutely loved visiting this place, and used as much as we could of the 48 hour pass. On the first day we drove around and explored the park. It is huge and beautiful. We saw wallabies, sea eagles, black cockatoos and other unidentified birds. We stopped and explored the old lighthouse ruins, which were beautiful and fascinating. At the top of the cliff there we also had the most incredible view.The second day we got there early in the morning and went to Murrays Beach. The sand was white and powder fine, and the sea was clear blue and very calm. We took a snorkel and saw a massive flathead hanging around in the seaweed just off the shore, but that was about it. When we went back in the late afternoon, the wind had picked up and the water was a bit choppy. That didn't stop the husband who had a very close encounter with an enormous sting ray a few metres from the shore.

We stayed just for one night but could have stayed longer. The tent sites are spaced out and a decent size, a short walk to a lovely beach and gorgeous walking nearby to several other beach areas, botanical gardens. Good camp kitchen facilities.

First hot shower we had for a while! Well worth camping here once you pay the entrance to the National Park it works out as very good value. The beach was stunning, white sands and one of the best. Great for families and a little privacy for couples too.

We wished we had more time to spend at Booderee, and found a day was not enough for all that we would like to have done (while still relaxing). We visited the historic Cape St George lighthouse ruins which I loved. OK, it is only the ruins of a lighthouse, with just the sandstone living quarters remaining but to read the tragic history of the families that lived there and to stand on the ocean cliff edge and take in the dramatic views while being buffeted by those ocean winds one was easily transported to another time. The lookouts here are amazing and definitely worth the extra drive deeper into the park. On our drive through we spotted a pair of wallabies lounging about and chewing the grass - classic Jervis Bay locals. Another "must do" is to stop in and Green Patch beach and camping area. The north section (if I recall correctly) allows you to park near the picnic grounds and has toilet & bbq amenities and has a fabulous little wooden bridge down on to the white white sands and turquoise blue waters. The beach is incredibly clean and with just small lapping waves perfect for family swimming. The water was quite cold however when we visited in early February (compared to north coast beaches). We were travelling with our toddler who loved the sights. Most of the "average" reviews for Booderee seem to be more about how much it costs rather than the amazing nature and experiences on offer. Although we didn't camp we thought $11 for 2-day car entry (and a map which is essential) was extremely good value. It costs a lot more to visit the Lady Denham museum. I found the gate staff to be friendly. The toilet and shower facilities at Green Patch were really clean however the (drop) toilets at the Lighthouse lookout were filthy - you'll definitely wish you packed hand wipes and sanitiser. Overall I'm happy to pay $11 for 2-day entry if it contributes to the protection and management of such an valuable natural, historic, cultural location. We would love to go back and explore more of the park and it's Indigenous cultural tours when our daughter is older. The 2-day car pass alllows you to exit and re-enter the park as you like. Hyams Beach cafe is a great lunch stop nearby if you didn't pack a lunch.

I love this place always. I visited so many time here and it is always wonderful. Very good beaches and other places also nice. You can do camping in some area.

We stayed here in mid February and the camp ground itself and surroundings were incredibly beautiful. The beaches are so clean, with crystal clear water and the whitest sand!However, a few CONS: - Upon entry to the National Park, we were hit with a $62 fee for the two of us to camp on an unpowered camp site for two nights, plus vehicle entry. In saying this, the campground does have clean and working toilets and hot showers, and firewood is provided. - You don't get to pick where you want to camp. Instead, they set us up right next to other campers, instead of fully spreading everyone out and using the space provided. - Finally, while we were there, there was also a school group of over 120 high school kids. They were loud each night, especially the last night when they held some sort of talent show and were yelling, screaming and cheering until late. Maybe try and avoid the same time as us or ask if there is a school group present!Apart from these minor issues, our experience was quite enjoyable. Would return, but will enquire about school groups and more private camp sites.

Some amazingly beautiful coastwalks, stunning beaches, some are secluded, some are active and large! Lots of stunning views, beautiful nature, a lot to explore here!

This place is Devine. The botanical gardens are well looked after. The beaches are amazing. The best beaches I have ever seen and swam at. We were even visited by a big stingray whilst swimming. This place is well looked after and the bathrooms were clean. Well worth the entrance fee. Wish we had a lot more time to spend here. Would love to come back :)

I have been coming here for many years and it never ceases to amaze me. Abundance of stunning beaches, beautiful walks, bays, lighthouse and botanic gardens. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple of days exploring here during your visit to Jervis.

The price of entry covered 2 days which was good value. Everything is well signposted and kept very natural. My favourite beach was just called ' Scottish Rocks' which I felt was like a hidden treasure.

We loved our stay at Greenpatch campground and the week we spent exploring the whole of the Booderee national Park area. Our whole family learned a lot from the walk along the Telegraph Nature Trail with Nick Dexter (ranger) spotting birds and other wildlife. We also attended a brilliant 2 hour Bush tucker and Medicines talk in the Botanic Gardens where we saw up close a Bower Bird nest and tasted a variety of plants used for bush tucker. The beaches in the area are some of the most beautiful beaches to be found with the whitest sand and crystal clear aqua coloured water. Swimming, snorkelling, surfing, fishing and walking are just some of the activities we enjoyed on our first ever camping trip as a family. A terrific family beach holiday!!

Amazing beaches, check specially Murrays Beach and Hole in the wall good to SUP, Green Patch you can feed the birds and Stony Creek to snorkeling.

Just been for a little drive down to Jervis Bay Village and along to Cape St George Lighthouse. Beautiful views across the national park and beaches.

If you love camping, wildlife, pristine beaches or all of the above head to Green Patch. Very generous campsites, showers, toilets and water. No power, fires permitted, wood supplied.
