We were fortunate to be taken to this camp ground as it's the meeting place for Rafting Australia tours down the Upper Murray. The camp grounds are 'pick a spot' free style camping & you pay $16 by buying a national park pass. Clean drop toilets are provided as are a couple of camp tables & benches. 1 or 2 BBQ plates over fire pits are also around. If you like camping, listening to babbling water & waking up to 100 kangaroos & wallabies, then this is your camp ground. Bring your fishing rods & something to float on along the river if you are game. The river can run a bit fast but someone has made a safe billabong for the little ones to swim in. Many 4wd tracks around & it's handy to use this as your base. You can have a fire when not high fire danger period.
