The falls are very close to Dorrigo and are quite impressive. A picnic area overlooks them and a relatively easy stroll will take you down to water level. It's not Niagara or Iguazu but a good place to stop for lunch with the kids.

A viewing area gives great photo access to the falls and the pool, and a track around enables getting to the pool for a swim and contact with the falls.

Easy access to the viewing platform. Plenty of water coming down the river made for a glorious spectacle. The park area at the top is well maintained.

A great spot to see a waterfall. They even have a trail to the bottom which takes about 20 mins and is in good condition. On a good day a swim is in order.

A two minute drive from Dorrigo, the falls are a lovely spot for a picnic and a swim. The walk to the falls is only 10 minutes even though the sign says it is 20mins. The water is lovely and kids as well as adults will enjoy. A very popular spot.

Don't let the flies put you off. Great after a big rainfall. Small viewing platform close to the carpark.

We followed our visit to the Dorrigo rainforest with a later afternoon visit to the falls. The Tourist office in Coffs Harbour told us it was good for seeing platypus. We failed but the falls were gorgeous.

Dangar Falls are beautiful, whether viewed from the top or down at creek level. Access is so easy with plenty of parking and no crowds. The walk down to the valley floor and back is safe and do-able.

Visit with the family and have fun on the playground barbque swim or hike to the pool at the bottom of the falls. A beautiful place for lunch. Great views and outlook. Camping available.

Attractive site, easily accessible, not overly crowded and a coffee shop just ten minutes away. What more would you want?Dangar Falls is one of those sites that looks good in all weathers - we got to see both with a rainstorm arriving just before we left the car forcing us to enjoy some respite in the Juan's local cafe. But as the storm passed we visited again and took the short walk down to the Bielsdown River for a photo session in brilliant sunshine.I suspect that this site is one of those 'always flowing' waterfalls because the countryside looks like it isn't short of water. Dorrigo is a quaint little village to visit and a drive along the Waterfall Way is stunning - particularly between Dorrigo and Ebor!!

always take our friends to see this when we are in the area and are never let down.very easy to get to and next to no walking involved in seeing it from the lookout.make the effort to walk down the path to below the falls as good views.

Lovely falls. Clean accsable picnic area. Hike to the bottom for a most refreshing swim. There are no life savers. A short ride from Rodrigo. Do both for a fun day trip.

Only a few kilometres from town, the falls were spectacular when I visited. The short walk down to the base of the falls was easy and well worth the time

what a sight and so close to the township just beautiful.Walkway to the bottom of the falls needs a hand rail so grey nomads don't slip but otherwise no complaints.
