restdown wines

We had the pleasure of spending a few enjoyable hours at Restdown Wines. Jo and Don couldn't have been more hospitable. We tasted beautifully made organic wine and enjoyed a beautiful platter of local produce. We didn't get the chance to take a turn on the walking track, but we're looking forward to another visit soon. This place is a hidden gem!

On the "backroads trail" in the area between Barham, Moama and Deniliquin in the southern Riverina. The owner / winemakers Jo and Don are making a great drop or three and are happy to receive visitors at their cellar door (best to phone ahead in case they are off mustering cattle or doing other farm chores, for this is also an operational cattle farm).I was impressed with their knowledge and enthusiasm and warm welcome. We've been enjoying Restdown rose, merlot and verjuice since arriving back home. When you're in the area, Restdown is well worth a visit!
