This old building has been well maintained as is the surrounding gardens. It would be more attractive if at least some food and drinks were available. It does add to the History of Renmark

Had previously visited and was pleased to see the volunteers having a stall at the Market on the riverfront. Plenty of local produce for sale and the ladies appeared to be enjoying themselves and of course making money for Olivewood. Well done.

We booked in months before we left for our holiday and we were so lucky we did. It was booked out! It was part of the Rose Festival and a wonderful experience provided by local volunteers. We sat on the verandah of this historic house whilst being waited on with wine and sweets. When it was time to leave we walked down the candle lit path scattered with rose petals!

This is not just an historic house but an informative experience with many photographs and exhibits from more recent decades as well as that relating to the Chaffey family.Well worth a visit to gain an insight into the history and growth of the area due to the irrigation projects brought by the Chaffey brothers which allowed this area to thrive

I really enjoyed my visit to this Historic Homestead and it was easy to imagine what the household was like in the 1800's. It is well displayed and plenty to see. The best part for me was in the back room they had some genuine old clothing laid out and you could touch the pieces and inspect and admire the sewing. The staff were well informed and happy to answer any questions... well worth a look and for $5 great value.

All in all, a good experience however some of the directions around the property are lacking. trying to find one particular building was pointless. Still worth the time to visit and somewhat experience life in that era.

Olivewood House and out buildings has a fantastic collection of antiques of the way it was when Renmark was settled and through the years I would recommend it to all ages take your time to explore you won't be disappointed.

An amazing homestead of the Chaffey Brothers in this region. All sorts of memorabilia and often events are held there during the year. A really great icon and well visited place in Renmark. Well worth a visit.

A hardworking committee keeps the history of the Renmark Irrigation colony alive. Heaps of charm and something to interest everyone.
