Most people who visit love to hear the stories and history of our wonderful wine region and the pioneering families who settled here in the 1850's. The Cleggett family have been growing grapes at Langhorne Creek for over 100 years and the current generation have been fortunate enough to develop a gift from nature of two indigenous grape varieties, White Cabernet Sauvignon and Bronze Caberent Sauvignon. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your visit this time - we are usually not open on weekdays and perhaps the cellar door was opened especially for you on that day. We do not provide entertainment, just lovely wines and a friendly chat.

My favourite wine at the moment is Cleggett wines cab sac. A great drop lovely modern cellar door in lovely Langhorne Creek. The rose and shalistin are excellent new varieties. Well worth the drive.

OK maybe not the best but a pretty amazing day! My favorite was trying out the unique white and bronze cab sav and hearing about the history of these wines from the friendly Anne! I will definitely be going back, thanks Anne!

After a weekend of tasting in Langhorne Creek, our favourite place was the beautiful Cleggett Wines Cellardoor. We absolutely loved the idea of their unique white Cabernet Sav- such a lovely flavour! Next time we venture to the Langhorne Creek area, we'll be sure to book accommodation at the Cleggett Cellardoor. Thank you Cleggett Wines for an amazing experience!

I enjoyed a lovely drive up to Langhorne Creek to visit Cleggett Wines as it was recommended by a friend. Short distance off the freeway, Cleggett Wines is a sight to behold as you approach the stunningly designed modern two-story cellar door. With a touch of deep purple on the front of the building, symbolising their passion for a good red grape, my partner and I eagerly entered. Friendly customer service and good conversation were a bonus as we struggled to decide between our favourite tastes. In the end we decided to buy a few cases - after all, the wine is delicious and affordable. All in all a well spent trip worth the time. We shall be back for more Cleggett Wines!!

We had heard about Cleggett's alternate Cabernet Sauvignon varieties, Shaliston (White) and Malian (Bronze) so decided to check them out. Both hold up well, particularly for Red & White drinkers alike. The other wines they have on offer are also of a decent quality and the gentleman behind the counter (Mac) was very friendly and informative. Situated on the main stretch travelling from Strathalbyn and well worth a visit.
