We visited this winery on a recommendation and we're pleased we did. The grounds of the property are picturesque and inviting. We were made very welcome by Mel and were fortunate to meet Josh who is the winemaker. We found their wines to be of exceptional quality which was of no surprise given the passion that was shown by them when discussing the wines were we tasting.We rate our Whistler visit as a highlight of our trip to the Barossa.

Visited this winery recently. Lovely big gum trees in the surroundings full of birdlife. Kangaroos nearby in a very large fenced in area. Very family friendly and welcoming feel. You can sit outside in the shade with a bottle of wine and local produce for just under $50.00. Just lovely.

Its often hard going wine tasting with small children as often there is little for the kids to do except watch dad taste some wine, so it was great to find a winery that really accompanied children as well as Whistler does. Toys, a small playground, heaps of grass to run around on, a cricket pitch, an animal enclosure. It was the perfect place to go where our kids could have fun as well. THe wines were nice and the build your own platter is a great idea. Highly recommend for all of the food, wine & atmosphere.

This is our second time to Whistler Wines. A family business with a beautiful vineyard in a great setting. Oh fantastic wine as well.

Great winery - very friendly for young children as there is a playground, cricket pitch and toy box to keep them entertained, not to mention the local wildlife. Wines are very good too and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly too. Can't wait to get back there.
