theatre lac-brome

My wife & I recently saw a Quebec artist- Natalie Choquet, singing a wide variety of songs from opera to pop, Beatles etc. Her act & voice was good. However, I more appreciated a Patsy Cline Interpreter some 5 years ago. In between there were all types of plays & artists scheduled. The theater itself is located in the country village of Knowlton. We are not fans of huge city amphitheaters & find this theater's size is small enough to be intimately close to the stage & artists.Thus we find it to be quite a charming venue. It is located approximately 1 1/2 hour drive from Montreal & somewhat less from Sherbrooke. We find it a quite a charming theater offering an excellent variety of entertainment. One complaint, however, is that the seats require replacement. We now sink below our knees & find it difficult to get up, once seated.
