Went there on a group of 4 to take a drink and dessert after we had dinner at another restaurant. The place is nice, sobre but practical, with the long tables. Good music. Good service (even if the waiter forgot the 4 shooters I ordered). We only had a drink there and desserts so we can only comment on this.Cocktails are cools and originals. Good price for them (big jar for $15), but still too much ice (dilute the drinks). We ordered 2 desserts, one being the "pudding chômeur érable & bacon". It was really good but the portion is way too small. Come on guys, it is one of your specialties, give it to us!!Overall a good evening, not a huge "wow" but better that "correct".

I had lunch at the Mile Public House yesterday with a friend because she had heard it was good. The decor is industrial chic, the staff was warm and welcoming, the food was delicious and my ceasar was fully loaded (even though it was virgin). My only suggestion would be to expand the menu choices a little but other than that, it was great!

Had one of the best Caesar! 13$ in a Mason jar, but soooo worth it! Like the previous reviewer mentioned this place is very busy and already had a lineup at 6h30. The patio fills up quickly and no reservations are accepted in advance. Fun atmosphere, loud music, plywood decor in the restrooms, great food!

The restaurant is very popular and it is not rare to see lineups even on a Tuesday night.Nice terrace, nice atmosphere and personnel is young, smiling and efficient. They have all kind of amazing cocktails served in mason jars which really adds to the experience. They are more expensive but considering the jar is huge and really counts for two drinks, the price is fair.We have tried the salmon tartare, well cut and very fresh and, nice attention from the waitress, she asked the level of spicyness (Medium was enough for me). Very flavourful!A very amazing smell kept coming from other tables and we saw it was the duck poutine. We had to try it. WOW! A very generous portion served very simply. The sauce is wine based and really not the fast food type of sauce. They put really a lot of duck considering the low price of the poutine. They use a very good curd cheese and the fries are nice and crusty. By far the best duck poutine I have had and even, one of the best poutine!Others had their jumbo chicken wings, salmon and burgers and all enjoyed it. All plates, except the salmon, were very generous. Two negative points:No English menus. For an area that attracts tourists, that should be a must. The way they place people. They insist in the formula first come, first serve. So if you are alone or just two, and are behind a group of 10, they will wait until the group is placed before placing you, regardless how many small tables are available. They should at least offer to keep your place in line while you go at the bar (and thus make money while you wait!)... That does create some frustration and a lot of people left...good thing the rest of the experience makes you forget until your next visit! One last thing, their washroom is mixed...seems to be following a new trend lately. While it still creates surprise from the customers, I am a woman and didn't have a problem with it... No lineup in the washroom!
